If you observe closely sir... The bumper it self is intact... The been behind it is bent a bit... Yes the bumper needs a respray... I might change it but on these streets in Karachi I think I newer bumper will get damaged in purpose by people...

I don't know what has happened to Karachi'ites, when it comes to driving.

I think it is a recent trend. Some 15 - 20 years ago people from Punjab used to quote example of civilized drivers of Karachi. When we visited there we would share our observations upon return that people in Karachi keep their lanes strictly, give way to others, and rarely quarrel on the road. All of these phenomena were absent from the roads in most parts of the country.

But I think you people have lost that touch now like the rest of us.

Still better than Punjab, I remember while driving back from shogran to destination not decided my wife asked me to take her to Pakpattan, off from motorway we took a road that went through faisalabad.. Samnudri.. The head ache I got that day was worse than I ever had..that drive was I think some 200 km.. But will never forget.. People here rush and try to be quick.. But don't block you intentionally, don't brake in middle of road etc etc.. Sorry if it hurts but terrible experience..

Now u finally need a new bumper. Get both new. Kharcha hoga but they will be in their original color and dont get them painted. bumpers are only to give and take bumps :).

As for the traffic and behaviour of ppl is concerned......majority of the drivers are either outsiders or ppl with no patience. The number of cars has increased the dilemma many folds.

but still KHI traffic is much better than Lahore.

December 25th, 2020..

Well I haven't been paying attention bro any of the cars lately, I have been busy and since today was off, I took my Lancer 88 for an oil change and engine bay clean...

Oil is Havoline 10w30 as always, the car was more than 3000kms driven and oil change was a must total cost was: 2850rs.

Had the engine bay cleaned with an engine bay cleaner and some liquid dishwasher, no pressure washing..

The car took 3.3 ltr of oil to fill up.. and working Allahumdullilah..

Will probably send the car for denting tomorrow for the Hijet fiasco.. trying to arrange for a new or a better bumper.. but my father says what is the point some biker will bump into you again... In a recent scene A New Alto Wala Jazbaati bumped into the front bumper again when cutting from the left I had stopped so damage to mine was zero.. though I asked the alto onwer haven't you seen the video on FB about your car..

I agree, because on the one hand I really want to keep the car looking perfect, but on the other hand I've learned with personal experience especially in Karachi, that the car has to go on the road, we have to park it wherever we can so there is only so much we can do to keep it safe. Now I don't 'go overboard' in keeping the car looking exemplary.

I mean if something is looking really bad, then fix it otherwise let it be. And when fixing, don't go for an overly expensive, elaborate or perfect solution, because there is no guarantee that some nonsense will not happen again.

Absolutely my idea... Perfection is for mechanical and electrical components... And major dents, and rust issues.

Still I will go for a new bumper since it is long over due... Let's see what happens.

You need to see my cultus bumpers... It has so many signs from bikers and paint swap from rickshaws lol...have just left it as it is cause next day another ***** will do their thing on it.

there is air intake in front and exhaust at back of almost each car, else u wont be able to close the doors, its not a pressurized can which will explode with temp rise

It was a witnessed mischief in my case., I know the boys and their fathers... And I am wait for the idiots to pull their next prank and bust them red handed...these kids have written with permanent markers on other people's white cars...

Believe me dont fight with them......make them friends and u will enjoy my advise. Now a days kids are not like the old day kids jinko dant do to do din tk ghar se bahar nahee nikaltey they. Ajkul k bachey mana kero to aur kertey hain.

So, Six months have passed within a blink. A lot of things have changed! some for good, some require help from God. All of my cars are Allahumdullilah working fine. and Back here to share a recent Mitsubishi Debacle of mine.

Bought a Lancer 1994 reg 1998 for 400K. The car is quite good and needed almost no work except for the smoke from the engine and the engine room needing to be sorted out! it drove fine, AC ran awesum, the suspension is excellent etc etc....

Decide to have the engine inspected at home and turned out to be worn rings! This was a chance to change all the belts, the fluids and all other necessary bits including some of the bearings....

The head came out to be in better than expected shape with almost negligible play in the valves! they were dirty though! i was not able to click all the images but here are a few that I took.

Until now I have spent 12000K on the parts some small things remain!
