January 30th, 2022:
So, This was new for me, On Saturday, I was on my usual stroll for buying the monthly groceries. Took my daily driving lancer 88 with me. I had to apply brakes hard since a car ahead had to do the same because a woman crossed the road!
The car did stop as it is supposed to but after that, the brakes lost all the pressure! I did complete the task at hand reached home with 90% no brakes!
Inspected the car from under and found that the brake fluid was all over the right rear wheel, Usual cause is a leaked brake cylinder seal which I do always keep in spare. Called my usual tech Abid Uncle, and after thoroughly inspecting adding fluid to the reservoir, and pumping the pedal found that the Brake Fluid Line was punctured.
Anyways on Sunday! I went to Aisha Manzil to search for the brake line! The Shop where I buy parts from near to the petrol pump on the corner (don't remember the name of) gave me a brake line genuine for a Suzuki Baleno. asked me to just have it bent accordingly and installed.
The line was exactly the same length and have the same fittings. had this bent and installed! new fluid poured in and ready to go!
Costs:
Brake Line: Rs. 120/-
Sieken Brake Fluid Dot 3: Rs. 530/=
Labor: Rs. 700/=
and the car is good to go!
still don't understand why the line leaked!
