Mitsubishi Mirage transmission filter

Mitsubishi Mirage comes with two transmission oil filters.
1 this one is inside the transmission assembly and can be accessed from under the car

2nd one is Cartridge Type and accessed left side of car if I am not wrong

The 2nd one is not available in this transmission. This is a J4 transmission and the filter that you see is in the J7 one. I have a mitsubishi mirage for 5 years now and its been working great. Also you dont need the first filter as well since its a washable and reusable one. It can be easily washed and used again. I only learnt about it once i hard ordered a replacement filter. I also have a 2015 mirage since 2017 with about 85k km right now. Although recently I've been experiencing some issues with the transmission. What happens is that when I'm on a certain rpm like around 3k, my rpm starts to fluctuate between 2800-3200 even though my pedal is constant and for 3000 rpm. I assume that's something to do with the transmission slipping and I was wondering if changing the filters might be able to help with the issue as I don't want a failed transmission on my otherwise very nice car. Have you experienced anything similar?
Also I did get the transmission oil changed (amsoil) at around 65k.

Sorry for the late response. Not sure if it can be a transmission issue. Have you tried getting your throttle body serviced? This cannot be related to the filter since the filter is washable and reusable anyways.
