I’m going to buy pajero 1998 gdi v6 3500 .
Do anyone know about this car . I want to know about its fuel average, and the car im going to buy is without sunroof . But someone told me that this variant comes with sunroof. Kindly help me I’m bit confused. Secondly tell me about price. Seller is asking 30 lacs . White color. And amnesty scheme car.

You didn’t mentioned is it 5 door or 3 door secondly GDi engine will be a constant pain bad fuel quality improper maintenance for sure by the previous owners you can get comprehensive infos from various threads discouraging GDi
If you’ve made your mind towards a Pajero better find with 3.5 DOHC don’t expect fuel average above 7-9 kmpl and try to find one with sunroof coz without sunroof vehicles do come but are rare in 5 door
And if your concern is an SUV Pajero not a must try to find any Prado or Surf you’ll have a better experience

Gdi engines on Pakistani fuel have had a bad history. Valves get dirty and the engine starts losing power and fuel avg. local mechanics make the issue worse. Decoking is required. If it doesnt have a sunroof its the base model and wont have a lot of features. Fuel avg will be low (6-9). Resale would be difficult. What is the owner demanding?

The V6 does between 5 and 6 km/l. GDi engines develop carbon on valves every 40k kms.
