Mixing High Octane and normal fuel for Vitz 2012

As per user manual of Toyota
Vitz - on page 660 - the recommended "Research Octane Number" for gasoline engine is 95

Question

Which fuel in Pakistan has octane number 95

Is it feasible to mix hi octane and normal fuel hoping it will have some good effect on engine ?

normal fuel was suppose to be 91-93 octane.. hioctane was suppose to be 97... however currently normal one when tested comes around 86-87.. while the best quality of hioctane comes close to 91... u can add fuel additives or octane boosters...

mixing fuel ain't a big deal.. u can do that,

internationally u can add upto 4% of water into fuel, while in pakistan its 8%, and at pump level it reaches upto 16%. u can consider hioctane as less adulterated fuel..

btw cng is 120 octane,

Hmmm
Cng has a higher octane number. Didnt know that. However sadly due CVT transmission vitz or most new jdm cars dont like cng...

Pakistan's most highest octane is around 90 and regular is around 87. But if you use the hi octane full time it will be also okay vitz 1L has this issue of knocking but the 1.3L doesn't knock even on regular.

Using hi octane as the primary fuel will surely add 1-2km in your mileage depending on the driving habits which justifies the slightly higher price. Plus it's good for the engine plugs and overall engine performance. I e been using hi octane since last year and my engine has gone really smooth by doing so. I highly recommend to use hi octane if available it won't affect your monthly budget.

Then y people are adding hioctane?
I Have vitz 2012 and i m using petrol from different stations never used hi octane , never had any knocking sound

There are different measures of octane internationally. American octane is different from European octane. In mainland Europe two octane numbers are available at pump 95 and 98. Not so in USA. So there is no one standard octane number. 87 is regular fuel in USA, while 95 is regular fuel in mainland Europe.

World wide known formula to octane is C8H18
Which is same in this world called earth
If saudi arabia using 91 and 95 as their standard gasoline octane that doesn't mean their formula will be different to measure octane of gasoline
Using high octane oil is only a waste on money
I have used both 91 and 95 in saudi arabia both giving same average and performance for most of the vehicles
Like Hyundai accent Elantra and toyota corolla camry and fortuner
Thats my personal experience
Hi octane is required with high compression engines
And i don't think vitz engine has that much high compression rate.

Car having compression ratio above 10 use 95+ octane. Vitz is 10.5
