Mobilink replacement sim

I bought an iphone 4 for myself. Instead of going to the market for cutting the sim, i tried it myself with the help of youtube, and i ruined the sim :S :S

had to get replacement sim from mobilink but after visiting mobilink franchise at Y block dha i got to know that the sim was not registered under me or my fathers name rather an unkown name.. However sim was brought by my father, may be from some dukandar..
Since i had cut the sim the CSR was not able to see the numbers on the sim either and therefore he asked me to visit mobilink office in Gulberg.

I had been using this sim from the time when i got my first mobile.....Will i be able to get replacement sim with same number??

Yes visit the franchise, and tell them that you have been using it. Tell them about the recent activities that you made using this number such as on which numbers you made the last calls, any number where you make frequent calls, the amount of credit you last loaded etc.

I had the same issue but i think the ID card should match the sim on which it was registered too. You will have a tough time getting a replacement if you don't find the original owner of the sim.

Secondly you can get the small sim from mobilink

they'll ask you recent call history and some details and then they'll issue it on your name,not an issue

once my telenor number got blocked,it was bought under my name but they registered it under some1 else's name
so i just fought with the franchise guy claiming it to be their fault n got the sim without giving any call history

They only ask call history mostly .. Same hapeend with my czn

Thank u guys i got my sim back yest.
i called 111 and got my old sim blocked by telling details like package plan, friends n family numbers, balance left, sms bundle.
Although i was wrong in telling the package plan

After that i was able to get a new sim from the franchise
