Oh.... i have installed new fuel pump in mutt,, coz carb does not have return option,,, pump is throwing more than required fuel thats y,,, carb is pushing xcessive fuel in sparks... resulting sparks failure and over.......

I need to change the carb ASAP. Japanese 410 carb is available and asking is 3k... howz that? n what is the difference b/w japanse and common potohar carb?

kamran bhai go for new carb coz before i was also using 1600cc used carb ,performance was not that much satisfying as it can be than i fixed new carb of potohar and now facing no trouble and average is 11km/L

there are chinese potohar carb available in market... Are you using geniuine new? Or using chinese? And how much have u paid for that?

Zenith carbs DO have a return line. I paid 14,000 for an original Potohar carb from Suzuki. Markets ones were 5000, but Chinese.

sarmad bahi the one which ive fixed in my mutt is the orignal one of my friend is the dealer of spare parts he gave me that carb and he said its the orignal one .

Kamran Bhai, Sarmad AOA, hope all are well. I was going through your comments for the past few days which I was away hunting for FJ 40. Sarmad would know more as he has allot of experience in 151 and info, till now who ever I consulted for crab, every one suggested supper carry 1000cc. It seems that it works well with good output. I would suggest not to go for a brand new one yet, as it will be costly. You should be able to get a supper carry one for around Rs. 2500 to RS. 3000.

Make sure that you keep the original one with you. Job on your jeep been done very swiftly, looks nice, but as suggested by Sarmad, keep the originality intact. Good Luck, unfortunatly I am out of 151 for the time. I managed to get 84 model FJ 40, start condition.

I second you on the Super Carry. Worked wonderfully, then the stupid logic came to mind that a jeep should have the carb of a jeep and came in the damn potohar's expensive carb with little value addition.

Arif bhai, that was a quick & swift sweep you made on the FJ. Pictures & details here or a new thread ? Do post a link here.

Oh & BTW, no M151 doesn't mean you vanish from here.
