yar sorry for the bad quality pics,,, i have a poor cam in my handheld and the insuffecient light was another reason... will post pics today in sun light....

yes there are red stickers, only two on both sides of windscreen frame...

There are two reasons to put on the tyre on driving side.... i have put in both spare tyres and jerry cans on opposite sides of the rig to balance out the over all look of the mutt.. i tried this tyre on passenger side while installation but wasnt looking nice.. moreover if we put the tyre on the right side,, gate cant be open completely coz of the large diameter of tyre with stops the gate to open it completely...

as far as weight on hinges and latch is concerned,,, thats not a problem as the gate and all its accessories are strong enough to bear this weight..

but i beleive that you are right on point of rotation thing... will check it out with and without tyre on back and let you know...

And yes... i have painted all the un painted areas till i change the whole color thing,,, yes the resource is cheap .... chali on the other thread has pasted a marking diagram.. all stickers are according to the said diagram

Sam - Its not about fuel expense, but what i believe is that it should not consume more than its standard consumption, mine seems to be a guzzler despite that ive changed the carb.

i have also not exactly checked but it seems that its not more than 4kms.

what should i do to improve its fuel efficiency?

KZ, its not about the expense. I was getting 4-5 from my Zenith ..... but when that gave up I didn't check after installing the zuki one. I think it should give atleast 7. You better check again.
I guess to get efficient fuel economy, have the plugs checked, the oil bath filter cleaned etc etc. Not much you can do though.

I use the Autolite 2245s, got them from the US at $8.5 a piece. Recommended fro al 4&6 cylinder M series engines.

Same, till they had the stock, mine that I replaced came out the same as what I put in, so I assume they had considerable stock of them.

Heard they are available here in Karachi too, can find out more on price etc. The best part is that these plugs come with their own water proof adaptors, so you don't need to keep the previous ones.

The other disturbing thing that I have come across is the 'color' issue. Had been on it for sometime and just got this back from one of the guys I had asked to inquire the same from GHQ, he wrote back saying

the concerned say that keeping military color is not at all allowed, can create troubles for the owner anytime, anywhere

The best and simple solution is to run a white or any other color 12inch wide strip down the middle, front to back.

As for plugs, which ones do you have ? Sherwan I think has someother make in.

Its sad to hear another Mutt up for sale.

Anyhow, till the time I got my sciatica attack (4days ago) I managed to get hold of some much wanted horns (installed; pending electricals), a search light atop the gerry (installed;pending electricals), rear seat adjustments (pending final fixture) & a right handside side view mirror, complete with arm.

I hoping to get back on my feet again, so I can have all these pending items taken care of.

One thing I wanted to ask was, what's he size of the wretch used to open the tranny & diffs ?
