As for your suggestion, if you register it at 1300cc and then change the engine, then you need to pay for the change of engine fee and as per the CCs of that engine you pay the tax thereupon.

I really don't know how its possible to pay 350 on a 2C engine.

Today I got the registration fee and annual fee expense from Gilgit.
Its less than 800/- per year on 2C engine and registration is 10-15 thousands. can be less.

though my question would be different from that of the thread, but it wanted to know that whats the difference between Shocks and " Kamanees " ( though i dont know the correct word for it in english ) in respect of OFFROADING.....what if a jeep with kamanees in all of its tyres is taken for offroading and what if a jeep with shocks at front and kamanees at back & also how would it be to take a jeep with shocks present in all the tyres ( as in Mutt ) ??

Ok here goes; Kamani is called Leaf Springs in english and all leaf springed vehicles have a shock absorber on each side.

A vehicle with all 4 leaf springs (Toyota FJ40, CJ7 etc) will have a shock absorber also and the ride will be much stiffer than otherwise.
The other type is the Coil Suspension, whereby there will be a big Coil spring over the shock absorber. Late model Hilux, Vigos and almost all pickup trucks will have front coil over shocks and rear leaf springs due to the ability of carrying load.

Late model SUVs have all around coil suspension (95 LC Prado, new Prados, LCs, LRs etc etc). The coil suspension gives you a smoother ride, enabling you to go faster off road, whereas leaf spring suspension makes the ride hard and bouncy, so a fast offroad drive can be quite a pain.

Leaf springs however allow you to carry much more load. A loaded hilux has a better ride than an empty one, so most people put dead weight in the dala to get the balance.

:):D(H). Well Usman, you know that the Americans actually had a manual on this too for their soldiers.
Since its only purpose was 'military', all other considerations came second.

Here's a depiction of what the manual said, its much easier than it seems, but I do accept that it can get a bit hard for female & short height males to climb 'UP'

The On/Off switch, I'm seeing this for the 1st time, what's that extended part on the right.

well sir, i saw some mutts in peshawar with full body and that lower parts too.i.e frame, shocks. etc...............but the person is demanding 1 lakh and 40,000 rs for that............is that good or to search for mutt some where else....:S..............sorry sir, i have no idea for the dhancha but was just wondering y u wanted that ???(H).......

Well, 140 is the demand, you can always make your offer. I have seen some nice Mutts in Lahore and the demand there was 125 which eventually got sold for 110.

So don't rush the guy, send different people over with real low demands and then you can come up with something that suits your pocket.

the modern technology's invention " VIRUS " attacked the memory card of my mobile when i connected it to the computer and then the virus destroyed all the files including the pics of the mutt that i took in Peshawar.....so i had to format all the memory card.............now i have decided to buy that mutt next weekend........then that busy project would start.............there were some 4 to 5 auctioned mutts but their bodies wern't having any dents or were not broken / cracked from any place..............
