Greetings from the East of England!

I am trying to find out which contract/s the Pakistani M151s were built under, as it looks like they were the very last MUTTs to be built by AM General.

If anyone would mind sending me a photo of their (or any) data plates, I would be very grateful.

Mine is a 1978 A2, but I cannot see how to attach a photo to show you all.

@m151a2 MUTS were not made in Pakistan.
all such M151 used by Military in Pakistan were provided under FMS program by the US Govt. FMS program was frozen in 1992 then scuttled under Pressler's amendment.

@m151a2 am not sure what you wish to trace from an M151 ID plate from a user in Pakistan.

Pakistan Military has decommissioned all M 151s between 1995 - 1998. lots are auctioned under scrap grade, upto year 2008

M151 plates are all over google check this link

it will be choice of @sameerulhaq064 to share his M151 ID plate or not, which he recently pulled out of hibernation.

It's not just Pakistan data plates. I have spent over 20 years researching these contracts and the Pakistani contracts (I believe there were two) are the only contracts about which I have no information.

My AM General A2 is a 1978 build for the US Air Force and was in service in Germany and disposed of in Germany, but there was another contract after that for the US Marines, possibly 1980.

My understanding is that the last ever production run by AMG was in 1984 for Pakistan, but that is not confirmed, as I have never seen a data plate from a Pakistani M151.

All of the photos that I have seen have been M825s. Did Pakistan only use the M825 and not the M151 A2?
Any and all help is much appreciated and I am always happy to help with any technical problems if anyone wants to send me a message.

some 125 units are M825 with rifle pedestal recoil less guns.
under FMS program Pakistan Military received 'USED' 151s' vehicles not brand new units.
There was no spare support, but some physically damaged units were shipped along to cannibalize and be used as spares.

Military MT workshops worked hard to establish parts inventory to keep such vehicles field worthy for a while.

A good friend of mine has seen original documentation that have the Pakistan M151s with a "J" contract prefix, as opposed to the usual "D", or "C" for US Army, or USMC contracts.

Have you seen any of these "J" data plates?

Here's my 1964 Kaiser A1, ex-Viet Nam and then the Thai army. It wasn't in very good condition when I got it and all the engine vacuum lines were missing, so it didn't run ver well at all.

Hello everyone, I own an M151 (MUTT) COMMANDO JEEP, that I neglected as it goes, it has been sleeping since a a few years.
Looking for a competent mechanic experienced with this particular JEEP since as we all know, it has its own peculiarities. Its in stock condition, no alterations.
Any advice will be appreciated. MECHANIC NEEDED AT KARACHI
