Firstly a turbocharged engine which produces more than 150bhp.
Secondly, a new quality paintjob.
It is not in a very good condition right now. Dents also need to be taken out.

Led headlights etc...
Basically it must be fun to drive while still being reliable

There are normally aspirated engines that make more than 150hp while being economical. For some people a 50k paintjob is fine and some people want 200k paintjobs. The leafsprings in the back wont let you have fun. Led is easy to find and install.

I was thinking within 5 lacs
What do you suggest?
Will it be enough or should I extend it to 7 or 8 lacs?

Do you own a car already?
There are many option.
But most practical will be K series engines as you are new in these things.

City? Bro first please go through the forums etc and try to learn about the basics and consult experts who have gone through this process. It will save you time effort energy and money. The corolla you want to modify has poor brakes and leafspring suspension in the rear( kamani) that is not comfortable or good for handling. But i think it can easily manage 150hp.

First read some threads and get more knowledge.
Learn as much as you can the go for it.
