Modifications for a stock IDSI Honda City 2008

I would like to modify a stock IDSI Honda City 2008 model. No engine swaps. Whatever modifications that are to be done have to be on the stock engine. Can the engine handle a turbo, intercooler?

If u add turbo....how can u tune ecu and injectors......the best modification will be swapping l15 engine like l15a1 or l15a7....it wud be much easier and cheaper and powerful too

Agreed.
Adding a turbo is not a easy task to do. Chipping the ecu, lowering the compression, making room, headers etc etc need a lot of work.

Forced induction karwana itna aasan nahi Hai. You have to take care of a lot of things aur engine build karna parta Hai. Easier to swap your engine. Forced induction tab karwao agar prior experience ho ya phir koyi experienced Banda aap ki help kare. Magar forced induction ki baat alag hoti Hai.

What about the fuel average? Will it be the same as the new 1.5 City?

It will give better mileage then in original chassis.

i have recently changed my engine to L15A idsi, ride is much powerful and fuel average increased a lot too. only one disadv though, the engine is louder and vibrations are more evident.

There are some rumours that the value of the car gets decreased after an engine swap. My car is perfectly normal and everything is working, if I want to sell it sometime later, will the value be decreased?

Sadly, Its true. People dont realise that engines get weaker with time and running and a changed engine is much better than local overhauled. But dont worry, just 50k max would be the effect

Installing a turbo means spending 1lac like, spilling water lol. If you've that much money then go for it.
Else supercharger idea is great.
I bought 3 superchargers, was getting them on good price so bought them.
