Sub-woofer is meant for bass not 6x9 speakers.. If you are feeding your 6x9 with lows, the same signal is going to its tweeter and midrange, these two would face severe damage..

6*9's have a 1st order internal cross over usually and it is designed to act as a HPF and works with the input of full range signal. 1st order means a -6db octave. so if your amp is feeding it a 50hz or 60hz LPF, then obviously you will fry out its coils. The mid range and tweeters you are talking about must be fed the signal with which they can work with. Mid range speakers freq response is from 300hz to 3khz and tweeters start playing from 3khz-4khz to 20khz.
So if you feed them LPF 50hz, how the hell they are gonna work. Plus the Sub woofer is designed specially to play this range.

I only asked a question. You don't need to be so cocky about it.

We are only trying to stop you from damaging your driver.. Even if you don't burn it, you would hurt them badly. Crossover networks that usually come with 6x9 are not that efficient. If you read the owners manual for your speakers thoroughly then you'll discover that they are not meant for this kind of excursion. They might exceed their limits and damage their rubber surround, you never know. Its like, when you stretch a rubber band way beyond its elastic limit, it would either break or lose its elasticity.. So is the case with rubber surround, all electrical instruments, and composition of your voice coil material..

I would suggest you to put back your rears to full range from your HU and let them breathe.. If your bass response is too much, then cut some db's from the HU's sub-woofer menu..
