I went to renew the registration of my 2008 car that had expired in December 2019. The staff told me that their records from 2007-2013 have been lost/deleted and as such, the owner would have to bring the original file to get it verified. However, an agent can do the same thing by paying them PKR 3,000. This seems to be a new technique/scam to make money, how can this data just be deleted? What should be done?
