Asalam O Alikum PW Members,
Can you suggest a good tire size for Suzuki's GS150. Front and Back.
Also, any good and reasonable tire shop from where I can buy those?

no need to change front tire of gs150 its good, but rear tire change is must.any good brand like dunlop.dsi etc will be the best choice.price varies from city to city.i am big fan of dsi using their tires since late 90's never had problem till now.recently purchased 100-90/18 of dsi for new gs150. exchanged with stock panther tire, price difference was 3k.service turbo is good for front but its hard tire.
best of luckdon't forget to get yr bike wheel rim/spokes checked at the time of changing the tire.
Thank you. I want a wide tire for good grip for long tours.
Which shop in pindi that will exchange my bike's old tyre with dsi new one
Waiting for member's comments.
this is dunlop 100/90-18(made in India) on my brother's gs.and this is dsi 100-90/18 made in Sri lanka on my gsthe best thing about these tyres are that they give very good grip and braking, the thing i love is that my bike is almost three years old and except once my tyre never got punctured. and my brother's gs is one year old and tyre never got punctured Allhamdullilah
if its too old i don't think any shop keeper will like to exchange it with new 1. but u should give it a try.otherwise purchase a new1 just like u purchase studds helmet it won't be waste of money as u will get more braking and grip on road.
to OP and all bikers for the sake of keeping yr bike tires in good condition for long time and to prevent tire walls from cracks always use quality tire spray like SOG or AA or turtle tire spray. don't use lister or luster what ever it is.
Well if tyres are properly inflated, they will not puncture easilyMy stock gs tyres have 18K Km on them and rear punctured only 1 time
Thanks for the info sir
i agree but the kacha safar that i do on my gs, i see many bikes of my fellow classmates being punctured everyday :D. but mine never gave this issue. but your point is valid. i keep checking the tyre pressure whereas most of the people are happy with their bike getting punctured atleast once in a week but never bother to check the pressure which hardly takes 3 minutes.
Ok when you take into account off roading then your bike's tires have performed really well
