Sure. But iss k liye successful hona paray ga na :S
ATF is not really a good solution because we have to change it after 5k kilometers or so. Plus, it doesn't have Anti-Foaming materials. It can be used inplace of Fork oils but its not really a replacement for it, which is why i am hesitant.
I am just surprised seeing the tension and difficulty i faced in obtaining one. Even the "famous" agencies who import barrels of oils don't give any information regarding fork oils. And i am honest, i have lost hope so far. As soon as you tell them you want it for yourself or your own bike, and the bike being "CG125" ... i am given looks which make me feel extremely cheap. Like its a crime to enter those shops and ask for a "small bottle" for our "puny bikes".
I have had it for now which is why i am retreating to you people and your experience, if any of you have any idea so that i can proceed with my plan of rebuilding my front shock absorbers.
Bhai bohat use kar liya hay engine oil. I am looking for supreme damping performance which we just can't get from engine oil. I want to experiment with some good quality fork oil (read my comments on previous page as well) to check the performance not only on plain road but also in bumpy conditions. I am 90% positive that i'll get my desired results with some quality fork oils available.
Engine oils (even the thinnest) make the shocks performance either too hard or too soft. I have done enough experiment with that and i just don't want to use engine oil for that matter.
