AOA fellows couple of days earlier i did first change of in my recently purchased GS150.
and for the first time i use any 4T oil in any of my motor cycle.
valvoline is not a new brand for me i have used it in past valvoline xld 20w50 api sg/cd in my car, genset, motorcycles , and never had any complain from this oil , in fact was very much pleased with its performance but it was out of market for several months and for that reason i shifted to mobil special. now its back in market and importer has informed me that this time they got bulk quantity of it so no worries
so this time i got Valvoline Champ 4T 20W50 API SG, JASO MA2 for my Motor cycle.
my experience has been very very good till now rode 200 hundred km on new oil :
1) engine noise has been reduced to minimum,
2) gear shifting have become extremely soft
3) no heating issue what so ever, bike is not feeling hot even after 25 km non stop ride to pma in afternoon
4) more responsive engine and certainly no feeling of any type of drag in engine.
read some where over internet that riders have stretched this oil upto 2.5k km on their rides without any problem,
but for me 1.5k km is quite good for this oil.
now the price factor.
paid 300 rupees for 0.7ltr can, 3 can for rupees 900 can do good 2 oil change with the intervals of 1.5k km on gs150 hopefully without any problem. ( have run bike on valvoline xld for 1.5k with ease) :).
i am so impressed by the performance of the oil that i went and bought yesterday 5 more cans to keep in stock.
will be replacing soon the red gs150 oil with this 1 for my nephew to enjoy the ride more better.
here are few pictures of the can i took today morning.
take care and kind regards.
