I have been changing LM in my Sprinter after 2100 or 2200kms running. At each drain I get inspected the condition of oil and it has still life remaining. The oil filter helps the oil also.

I have been using it in generator 3KVA for 75+ hours and drain in condition with some life still.
Just to measure the quality of this oil, it does not only run for more than 75+ hours but it has also disappeared the smoke which was coming to slightly weak rings. After two packing there is no smoke now and it really a happy sign.
I am paying 750 which saves me engine overhaul for an extra bonus period (engine overhaul costs around 8K). It can run for 80hours where as a local oil only good for 40 hours.
So LM is paying back you more than your 750. Its just a matter of realizing different aspects instead of considering only the price factor.
