Yes I also think it has the same problem!

It must be having friction modifiers i.e. agents which reduce friction inside the engine to reduce wear and tear of the parts... But one problem is that they can cause a wet clutch to slip and create problems...

The oil basically fails the claim to be Jaso MA(wet clutch safe) and created clutch issue... Now blame our bikes to be having pathetic clutch plates? Or blame the oil God knows which one is real culprit however we know one thing for sure that our bikes don't like kixx... Hence should be avoided.

I as mentioned earlier experienced poor clutch feel, poor performance of bike and more engine knocking...
The initial impression was good but soon I realised it isn't that good... It's potentially harmful for my clutch hence I drained it a little earlier and never used it again.

as par above lines API SL Contains Friction Modifiers
So this means Liqui Moly also contains these chemicals
But so far Liqui moly seems to be wokring fine

and below sharing some points taken from wikipedia

i think still Obsolete SG/SF category is being widely used & prefferd oil for motorcyles
and i think our bikes are happy with this category oils they don't like latest API category oil
specially SL more specific Kixx API SL

Gull bhai so JASO MA Oil does not work in our bikes

is it that our bikes clutch does not match JASO MA
our bikes are happy with API certified oils only

It's funny now that i think, i have had better experience with obsolete grade oils when compared to modern grades JASO MA oils.

The bottle no doubt is very good looking and gives feel if an expensive oil... But the real story isn't that good!

Yup, bottle looks great and really attracts the customer looking for a new oil to try out.

Technically speaking,
API SF/SG are totally fine for use in bikes. They don't even need the JASO MA certification.
But newer grades API SJ/SL/SM/SN all contain friction modifiers, so if you want to use any of these oil for your bike, then they need to have JASO MA stamp on it (certifying that these are newer grades+ safe to use in wet clutch bikes also). Now it is a mystery why these fail in our bikes?? may be some of these are not really JASO MA??? May be they are just packing modern grade car oils and stamping JASO MA on it??

If you search on the net a lot of guys are using sehll rotella T in their motorcycles and are more then happy. If its PSO DEO 6000 is cheap around 250-300 range, I will definitely give it a try, other-wise I am OK with API-SG local top brands oils.

It shouldn't. Even Kixx shouldn't but it does. Can't comment on AX-5 unless i try it.

Our fellow Racer bro who owns pridor has used this oil
in his bike & it worked very good for him

Liqui moly is not causing clutch slippage because it is mineral oil, which means it's natural oil and it has no mixing of synthetic... We can say that it is the well engineering of Germans that the oil is 100% mineral still it's preparation is such and so that it provides protection (API SL) equivalent to a modern semi synthetic oil... Yet being fully safe for the clutch unlike kixx...

Hence it is much safer than kixx which has modifiers harmful for clutch!

Praise for liqui moly engineering!
Achieving high grade oil performance without adding potentially harmful additives...! Kixx failed to do so... They added modifiers that fry our clutches!

Liqui Moly is simply an awesome oil with latest API & also does not include those harmful
friction modifier which are not good for clutch it is really one hot product available in market

i wish liqui moly also introduce 20w40 too as in winter don't you think this oil will be too thick for engine
and it may not allow free moment of engine internal parts & user may also face cold start issues

well winter is not too far so when winter comes its will be tested too
liqui moly peforms same in winter too

& how is your time passing with liqui moly filled in your Junoon
is junoon happy now as its filled with imported guarranted genuine oil

^^ it's poor point is very low, means It can be poured freely even at very low temperatures so I don't see such problem, however warming up ur bike for 3,4mins before driving would improve its flow and engine life surely...

means it will flow freely and won't put stress on engine internal parts
as you have seen this oil with naked eye it is good it does not look too thick like honey

yeah certainly warm up is really one important factor for engine i take care of it
i alteast give 20sec for warmup but my brother rides bike kick,clutch,gear & go within few seconds

Yes warm up us very imp, in winters it's even more imp. Yes my bike is happy with it... Last day I rode my bike for about 30-35 kms in Lahore busy traffic.. The journey included slow speed crawling...stuck in traffic, plus full speed operation... Yani k it was a good mix of various driving conditions and my bike was happy... Specially the clutch did not miss behave even at the end of journey it was fine... No signs of a heated up clutch. The heat from the engine was also normal... I was wearing loose chappals with uncovered ankles, still no over heat felt. Driving was done with a pillion.. Approx. 150kgs on the bike. Everything was fine

oh excellent it is very nice to know this & it is very positive feedback :)
this certainly shows bike is very happy with liqui moly
i really liked this point you were wearing open chappal yet did not feel
any extra kinda heat in feet which shows how cool & smooth engine was running :)
although the conditions you told in these condition engine gets hot quicker
and it was good amount of weight on bike too

Bro my order is done i have paid money for two bottles of liqui moly :)
inshAllah hoping to get it soon will take some days
but its hard to wait now specially hearing such an nice feedback about this oil :)
and that too from an 100cc owner i ordered oil from the shop whom you purchased
it costed me very expensive due to shipping charges price of one bottle was 700 rupees

why blaming synthetics for clutch slippage???
I am sure even liquy moly will have great line up of synthetics for bike usage.
Now if Kixx is causing slippage isn't simply because it is semisynthetic. There is something else going on here. If it says JASO MA on the box, then it should never cause slippage, be it semi or fully synthetic.
So you can say that Kixx isn't actually giving what is written on the box.

True that gull g.. Edited my prev post. I also meant to criticize the additives in kixx. Yes there might be some good synthetics and semi synthetics out there with 20w-50 rating however I havnt found a single one yet.., they are all 5w-something mostly

I read somewhere the friction modifiers are added to SM and SN grade oils. SG, SJ and SL don't have them and are safe for wet clutch of bikes. Could anyone kindly confirm it with references and oblige?

Have someone ever tried good synthetic?
May be companies are confident that these synthetics can maintain viscosity longer so need not to make them too thick, that's why we see synthetics always in thinner grades.
I believe @r1 bro have some experience with Motul 5W-40 fully synthetic.
