Motorway M4 update

this M4 is on the back burner and the new thing which has emerged is KLM(karachi lahore motorway) development is going on full swing on the other hand this M4 gojra-shorkot is going to be completed till 2019
The twist in the story is ABDUL hakeem motorway

The meeting was told that land acquisition regarding Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Section of Karachi-Lahore Motorway is ongoing, and the contract for this 230 kilometer motorway will be awarded on EPC (Engineering-Planning-Construction) basis-the Board forwarded it to ECNEC for approval.

I am also waiting for that day when i will just put step on accelerator from khi and apply brakes in Lhr within 13 hrs.

Is Khanewal Multan section opened for general traffic?

Yes it is open now but only benwficial for people living near it or coming from bahawalpur or muzzaffargarh and going to lahore. Will be beneficial for all when completed till shorkot.

We entered shamkot interchange through n5 and the interchange was blocked by spikes and barriers
The shoulders of the interchange were incomplete too

Khanewal Multan section is NOT opened for traffic yet. I travelled from Karachi to Faisalabad on 5th of this month and wanted to take this section of motorway from Multan towards Khanewal but came to know that this is not opened for traffic.
