Dont you guys think motorway police is getting clever and clever finding new ways to catch people over speeding.

Few days back i saw then sitting near the faislabad exit on M2. Who in hell would imagine someone is sitting 500meters away from fsd exit.

If you pass 1 speed gun it means there is no other for 100km but now they are sitting with 1km distance.

They are sitting near slopes and write you challan at 128 even(yes i got ticket at 128 they said its fine till 125)

From lahore to peshawar there were mostly 3 speed guns and while coming back there were none or just 1.
Now from chuch(its inbetween pesh and isb m1) to chackri there were 4 speed guns.
From Lahore to faislabad there were 4.

The most horrible thing they do is if someone is speeding then they jump in front of the car to stop the speeding car now that is totally Fked up. The other day i saw them standing blocking two lanes just to stop a speeding car.

What are your observations

u r rite i got chalan at 90 speed in kalar kahar at slope.even i applied brakes bt still car was moving fast.they said here 70 is allow here
even in kalar kahar not on any board LTV 70 i didnt see any sign board

commercial transporters, specially the flying coaches and road liner type of buses actually know their position when they cross and convey this to the whole of lorry adda people so that they slow down only @ places where they are observing car's speed limits.. This in turn necessitates them to observe speed limits on motorway where they are least expected... I think thats the only way you can persistently catch over speeding vehicles..
My experience actually with motorway police is good till now but as you say those guys coming right in front of a over speeding car is dangerous..

yes they are becoming clever day by day the MW police fined me of 600 for over speeding and not turning over n stop the car when they waved at me

Motorway Police is doing absolutely right, they should also double the amount of over speeding fine.
Speed Limits are for our safety and we should observe it, not finding ways to get around it

there are many speed catchers now most of time i traveled was after noon when for the first time driving on m1 i saw flashing lights in a distance up ahead a City wala was too impatient he over took me and i slowed down to 90 and at the interchange he was caught when i got there

from my observation, usually within the last 10 days of a month, there is an increase in speed guns.

on my last trip on r18 to gujranwala i was also ticketed at 98 at kalar kahr slope n he said 70 is limit but of only 200rs
but mery sath jo shagufy bethy hoy they bohat fankar they paindu ban gai n said paa g ay gandi jeri wadi sari ha na ee kirae di a chalan kat kare lolz but i dont know the exact reason but he fined me just 200rs for that but it turned my mood off coz it was just 98 but the next ticket whch i got was on 194km/hr some thing just before sheikupura interchange
n on return again fined at some thing 182 183
n after that my r18 becomes the MAJ EHSAN BAJWA S r18:(

Motorway Police is doing absolutely right, they should also double the amount of over speeding fine.

sorry but i may disagree coz 120 limit is just nothing
n is quite unjustice for the car owners who can touch this 120 in 2nd shift only
if they double the fine then they should increase the limit as well

Speed limit in salt range has been revised to 40 KM/hr for LTV and 30 KM/hr for HTV as I saw new sign boards in salt range when I was travelling last saturday. Also they have started giving time of 25 min to buses,hiace and other HTV to cross salt range. They have also put speed camera on uphill road comming from Lahore to Kallar Kahar. So be aware.

if you think motorway police is clever, you havent seen what kind of highway police newyork state has,,

there highway speed is 55mph. and you better make sure yr doing 55 and nothing else .

we are lucky we have 120km/hr, limit

giving out a challan on over speeding is very good thing and you deserve it,when you know the speed limit then better obey it

Well what i say is they should stop sneaky business. The should do steps to educate people. Mostly when they are hiding and are spotted by over speeding cars they brake dangerously which can lead to some accident too.

They still run away its a problem for people who are not over speeding and are not prepared for them jumping in lanes with stop signs lol.
