Multan-Sukkur M5 Motorway Update?

Opening of M5, some people trying to make the issue political which is not good. I remember when M2 was opened in 1998 and people rushed to it so quickly that initially in 2 weeks it had so many accidents and deaths. So many people called motorway as 'maut way'... its not because of someone's govt that time, it was because people (drivers and the local population around the road) was being careless. so pls try not to be biased.

Bro Just to add, Multan - Sukkur Motorway is superb..... Quality of work is excellent ...... Love to travel on this.... Journey becomes very comfortable and now travel time between Lahore-Karachi is 12-13 hours including short stay.......

I must say, at the moment animals accidents ratio is very high at night time as I saw 50-60 dead animals on route..... But I think as mentioned earlier If you keep speed @ 100 an remain vigilant then inshAllah everything will be perfect with Allah's Blessings..........

I also saw many cars which were crossed like rocket, approx. their speed must be around 150-160 at night time so i think we must be sensible and take decisions keeping in mind all factors......

If your going from Sukkur, then Uch Sharif Exit would be more suitable.

while long travelling with family , kids have a problem of vomiting , how to cope with it????

You're right, that's a genuine problem faced by some people, even grown ups. 1st thing is to take multiple stops along the way for 3-5 minutes each, like every 1-1.5 hours for kids to breath fresh air, stretch their legs etc. Secondly, to tackle the eventuality, take some broad mouthed containers with you with plastic bags inside (just like we do with dust bins in our homes), so in case the kid(s) need to vomit, they can use it with ease and you then dispose off the plastic bag at any nearby dumpster. Wet wipes (instead of tissue paper) will come in handy as well.

PLace a tablet of disprin in belly button and a saniplast over it to hold it in place. Somebody told me this, dont know if it works. You can try it.

Gravinate Syp or Tablet could solve your problem. Moreover, please take care, children didn't eat something just before start of journey. My children had same problem, but it solve now with the passage of time.

Give them a spoon of gravinate syrup before starting the trip, plus do not allow them to eat chips or cup cake etc during the travel.

same issue i faced way back in 2015 with my WIFI and Kid. So next plan is to give them both Hydralin so that they will sleep comfortably while driving.
Now they both are afraid of long travelling and i was Stuck.

Which route is better N5 or N55 ?? while traveling from Hyderabad to sukkur From facilities and safety point of view.

N5 is double road N55 is single road

In my opinion, N5, but in any case sindh area preferably cross in day light, i used this road last year found quite good

I would also recommend sticking to N5 until you reach Sukkur.
