i have been a long fan of mopar and i have been following mopar from 5 years
mopar for life
i'm a huge fan of muscle cars i respect them all the same as each of them has some significance and they all have thier own following. if i had my choice it'd be a cuda, Z-28/SS/RS camaro, Mustang Mach1, AC cobra and the list goes on....

According to the June 1967 issue of Road Test magazine, a
"muscle car" is "Exactly what the name implies. It is a product of
the American car industry adhering to the hot rodder's
philosophy of taking a small car and putting a BIG engine in it [...]
A quote is drawn from, Peter Henshaw, furthers that the muscle
car was designed for straight-line speed, and did not have the
"sophisticated chassis", "engineering integrity" or "lithe
appearance" of European high-performance carsfficeffice" />
Well I am not in agreement with the "engineering integrity" bit,
what with some of the greatest engines ever to sit behind on a
stoplight !!
Motor Trend identified the following models as "musclecars"

Car and Driver actually compiled a 10 Best Musclecars list in its January 1990 10 Best issue.
Pat Bedard, who was a Chrysler Corp. engineer/ C&D editor as well as street racing fanatic in the 60's, compiled it.
His selections were based mostly on the engine, not the car. This is really what counted at the stoplight.
