So its been a long time since I have actually posted in PW been inactive since 2013 I believe. Wanted to share a lil bit of my daily runner its a 2009 Corolla Diesel SR bought it brand new back then and has remained parked for quite some time. Was previously owned by my Grandfather and now has been passed to me. The car covered over 21000kms in the period 2009-2014 was sold off to my uncle who rarely drove it so it was in bad shape even for a less driven clean car. When I got it in 2014 spent over 60k on it just to get it back in proper running condition. My uncle's lack of care included 3 years old oil which sat in the car with same oil filter air filter and cabin filter since 2011 had my work cut out but nevertheless it was all in my hands..New oil was easy the hard part was removing the oil pan to access all the sludge that had built up new filters and all was running smooth. changed bot front shocks because at some point someone harshly drove it where one shock had started to leak so for better judgement changed both so they could be even. Engine tune up new fuel filter and to my amaze Peshawar diesel is filthy clogged up 2 injectors so replaced them all. New tyres were added later on as the old euros started to get cracks and lost some what its grippy feel.
Since I wasnt gonna keep it all stock decided to save up start collecting some items..And No corolla OEM parts are a pain to find now

Interior:
since it was already the top of the line variant added some minor touches.
Had the center console and steering panels Hydrodipped.
added Kioto oem door lamps to the front doors.
Sound System:
Had a wish to make a proper sound system as I had alot of issues in my previous car due to lack of space.

5. Boss 2 Farad Capacitor
6. Mono solid audio f1600D amplifier for subs
7. Solid audio f47 1200watts 4 channel apmlifier for speakers

10. Fusion RCA leads
11. 2 gauge Stringer wirings
12. sound dampening sheets covering the trunk sides,trunk lid,roof,front doors,rear shelf.
13. Multimedia controls.
Took me a lil over 3 years to collect the stuff and 1 year to get it all installed properly. Did have some issues along the way but they were to be expected...Do say MAA SHAA ALLAH...
