My 4th car in the UK - '23 VW Polo

Dear all,

I recently upgraded my wife's car from a Vaxhuall Corsa to a VW Polo.

Enjoy the pictures - I am going to start with the Corsa which we bought 2 years ago for an excellent deal. I have shared my experience here:

The corsa was a lovely car - no wonder all the 'teenage racers' here like it

This a well specced car - android auto, cruise control, etc

The rear doors were manual operated though - which was not too bad as we rarely had adults sitting in the back seats

And here is the polo!

That is the '19 plate Audi A6 parked behind it which is our primary car. The Polo is for my wife and I use the A6 for commuting to work/ long family drives.

It looks like a golf and seems quite big for a small car

The smokey grey color gives a purple hue in sunlight

Driving it out of the dealership. It has manual climate controls which we can live with.

The best thing is that android auto is wireless. So we do not have to faff around with wires - this is a function which is not in the Audi A6!

Virtual cockpit which is now pretty much standard in most cars - but nice to see it is as standard in the base model

The interior is very high quality.

I can access the cars functions from my phone - including locking and unlocking!

Everything in this car seems to be high quality

The multifinction steering wheel is easy to use

As this is the base model, it does not have electric climate control and an electronic handbrake
