Sr. 0.75 per liter for 91 RON (from Sr. 0.45)

SAR. 1 = PKR 28

That's dirt cheap petrol no wonder of many super cars run in saudia in pak its not possible to run these cars because fuel pricing.

Not as many as you would like to think. Go to US, UK or even Dubai for super car spotting, and you will know what I mean.

Point being "super cars" need cheaper maintenance more than cheaper petrol to run. Whoever can afford a $100,000 Lambo does not care about petrol prices.

Whats the average mileage on that monster of yours ? You have VXR V8, right ?

Thats not so bad.

On pure city driving these days, I achieve something around 14 l / 100 km mark. Thats on 95 RON.

I reckon you do a lot of highway driving each week?

Which app is that? Looks quite nifty.

We drove to Dubai from Jeddah (2500 km roughly one way) in about 175 liters.

The app is fuelio gives good graphical numbers too.

These all milage in city. As no highway since a few days. One of the time 4L driving on dunes about a month back for half an hour.
On highway one fill up yealds 800+ kms

I can touch close to 650-700 km in one tank on highway, if I maintain 120km/h. In city, its only doing 400 km out a tank. Mind you, my tank is only 70 liters.

If I fill up 91 RON, it drops even further.

Type of fuel usage depends on the engine design and the detonation needed. Its a long story. My cars engine is designed for 91 and I use the same once filled 95 and the milage went worse in excess of 15%

Lucky you guys! That's still half the price we pay in UAE. And that too after the recent move of govt to adjust fuel prices as per international market. For a brief period, 95 RON went as high up as 2.14 AED per litre.

Yes, I have noticed it.

I guess Premium 95 is still around AED 2 mark ? Compare that to filling up my E350 for SR 600+ in the UK (? 105). That used to finish in less than a week too!

That's very neat. I downloaded it already and will track it from next fill up.

My engine recommends 98 RON or higher. Minimum it will take is 89. However, when I tried running it on 91 for 2 weeks, I noticed lower mpg and more importantly, it used to knock on cold start specially in mornings. In the end, it is not worth pouring oil petrol in the car, if you want to enjoy the drive.

I have not driven his car yet, but I gather after reading reviews that the N20 4 cylinder (1600cc!!!!) is a direct replacement for straight 6 N53 engines. Now I am feeling a real need to test drive it to actually feel the power of this engine.

The 520i has a 1600cc now? damn !! I didn't know that. Although im pretty sure it ll be turbocharged, so it should be okay. but still.

I think BMW guys are doing this to reduce carbon emissions and also to improve fuel economy.

No its cheaper now. 95 is for 1.58, 91 for 1.51. But 600 for a fuel fill sounds.... cruel
