Got my bike 1k km inspection today.
Changed engine oil and oil filter
Engine oil was Total 4t 20w50 coz 10w40 us very rare to find. Zic was being sold for 600rs which I think is overpriced.
Shell AX 5 was not available.
Let see how total works.

Please see the topic "Break-in (mechanical run-in)" on Wikipedia and other sources and you will understand how important the running process of a new Engine really is.

Basically the future power output of your bike depend on these first 300 ~ 500 kms.

Is it possible to replace my bike's stock horn with Jeep Cherokee horn(made in usa) . I have a spare lying around so wanted to ask will it affect the battery?

you can replace the horn. it wont affect the battery. just take care of the battery water level . i am using bosch horns that comes in honda accord(easily available for rs600-1000). new ones cost above 2.5k i guess. works good with hid as well and the self also works without any issues. daily running is around 30 kms. 20 kms in day without hid and around 10 km with hid on at night.

Good news:ride became more smooth. Finally can twist theatre throttle whichever way I like.
Bad news:at 1k km read tyre got puncture. When the tyre was opened there was already another puncture on the tube which I never did. This was the first time tube was punctured but how come we there another puncture since I had bought it brand new. Maybe the shopkeeper had given an old one deliberately. @jadoon1992_vxlimited

wao. first time i am looking at a 90/90 size tube. I am using stock 3.00 tube in bigger tyre as couldn't find bigger tube.
And how come it has puncture already??? you didn't notice while purchasing it????

What are you trying to tell? The size of tube is 4.10-18.is it for 100/90-18 size tyre?
Nope I didn't notice. He showed me that here is your tyre and here is your tube. I was busy with the mechanic taking out the stock tyre.

I would advise PW members not to get any product from Malik tyre and puncture shop which is opposite to NMH as the guy is a great liar and fraud. I send my cousin to inquire the price for DSI which he quoted 4k.To me he quoted 4.5k.
To me he said get DSI and to my cousin he said not to go for DSI but take DVS(made in India).
From this incident I have learnt a lesson. Never trust a shop keeper. Always be familiar with prices before buying an expensive product.
