Ofcourse this is not business, its absolutely haraam income. Had he informed u with regards the defect and adjusted the price accordingly, then it wouldve been a different case. Worse case is, he wont even admit it.

I had my bike's seat cover replaced a few days back. When i was in the market, the shop owner had come running to me and had been very enthusiastic in offering his service, calling me beta beta all the time
I came home and started to wash my bike. I have a habit of removing the seat to clear the dust beneath. Now i noticed that the side bolts werent original. I went back to that shop keeper. Not only did he pretend not to recognize me, he refused to even speak to me. I didnt want to create a big deal out of it, so i quitely came home

I would advise PW members not to get any product from Malik tyre and puncture shop which is opposite to NMH as the guy is a great liar and fraud. I send my cousin to inquire the price for DSI which he quoted 4k.To me he quoted 4.5k.
To me he said get DSI and to my cousin he said not to go for DSI but take DVS(made in India).
From this incident I have learnt a lesson. Never trust a shop keeper. Always be familiar with prices before buying an expensive product.

its not about the shop wala. i gave you his reference but i said that as well to confirm from the market first and then get it from him. but if you thing the tube was defected, come to him tomorrow and drop me a text, i will also come there and will get you a new tube and you wont have a pay a single penny for it. he is not my relative and neither do i own that shop but right now i have got tyres from him for more than 4 bikes and never faced any such thing. a very senior member booster also got tyre from him on my reference and was very much satisfied. i gave you the reference so its my duty to satisfy you because then you'll be thinking that i am getting some commision from him. we are here on this forum to help each other and i have given references to alot of people here. he is sitting out of the market so definitely he will ask more money for it. this is the case with all the shops out of the market. i agree to that but regarding the tube thing, you can meet me in the morning tomorrow and if the puncture will be there on the tube, and even if he refuses to exchange it or make excuses, i'll get you a new tube

Bro as I told in the thread that I send my cousin to check price and then I came to the shop and said that u just told my cousin this price and to me you sold at another price . I already went to him last night. First I asked him politely but he was again making excuses and calling me a liar so I left the shop and promised myself to never go there.
As far as the tube is concerned, bro why would I want a tube from your money. I am thankful to u that u gave me a reference and thats it. Ure job is done there. Checking prices, bargaining, and checking the product was my responsibility. Its about the shopkeeper who should be loyal and honest to his customers.

Today, in Karachi, IG suzuki had given its customers free bike check up. Special mechanics from Pak suzuki were there for inspection of bike.
Anybody who is willing for his bike's free check up can go. On the poster it said 21-22 Dec timings 9 to 5.
They also gave tea to their customers and everything was organized. Also at the end of check up the customer would be given a gift. I was given a pen . hehe.
They were also providing an inspection voucher for 500rs. Generally, one has to pay 300rs for one inspection (tuning included I think) but when u buy the voucher u can get one inspection for 100rs so 5 inspection for 500rs.

Good news:So after 1km tuning average shifted to 53kmpl
Bad news:at 1k km read tyre got puncture. When the tyre was opened there was already another puncture on the tube which I never did. This was the first time tube was punctured but how come we there another puncture since I had bought it brand new. Maybe the shopkeeper had given an old one deliberately. @jadoon1992_vxlimited

What has been done on 1000KM tuning. I mean what they do in this tuning. Actually my GS is 4 days (40 kms) old now.. but there are certain issues which I am hoping to resolve in the first tuning.

Issue 1: Bike's RPM is high and it keeps fluctuating when started.
Issue 2: Applying first gear is horrible. A lot of noise in applying the first gear. May be it is due to high RPMs.
Issue 3: Once releasing the clutch in first gear , a tuck sound has been heard. I think it is coming from the from the front sprocket.
Issue 4: The handle bar seems as it is not straight. Slight tilted on the left.

Any suggestions for these above issues.?

Price is 3.1k which includes exhaust, fitting, and paint. The exhaust sheet was separate. (170rs)
I inquired from 3 shops but finally settled to Ibaad brothers.
Actually there were some Chinese crap which has female- ish sound (phatti hoe awaz).
The mechanic (imran bhai) showed me this exhaust. Its was for somebody else who had given order but I persuaded him to sell it to me and make it again for that guy.
Sound is heavy bass .It's not fully heavy bike sound due to 1 cylinder but when you twist the throttle you will never want to release it. . On my way back at signal everyone was just looking at the muffler due to its heavy sound.Guy did a very good job in installing the booster.
I have kept the stock muffler with me incase I want to revert back to silent beauty.
Address : saeed manzil (near plaza) come down the rubber market take a right and on your left side there will be shops. There will be a shop by the name of Ibaad brothers.
If coming from Gul plaza head straight until you see mufflers shop (easily recognized).

Dear Atif Bhai,
I am not an expert to guide you exactly what the problem is but whatever relevant information I have I will share it.

In first 1k tuning (which is free) basically oil is changed, oil filter is change,tuning and 1k inspection is done (u may see the page in the booklet which shows full details about what is included in 1k inspection). In my case the mechanic followed every task in the inspection.
As per your questions
1 . don't worry it happened with me also. Needle kept 'fluctuating' between 2-2.5 RPM. Needs some idle fixing.
2.also because of poor quality SGO oil. Change oil at 300km and see if it goes away.
3.no idea about that.
4.common manufacturing problem. Mechanic will allign it properly according to inspection manual.

Gs experts can guide you better though.

The good thing which can be clearly seen about this muffler is,it is maintaining bike's original retro looks.(Y)
