I need to get a nice glossy coat on my muffler.
Should I do it myself using spray can or should I give it to a painter who knows the job.
I have a vague idea so i don't think I should touch it. If any one here knows where I can get my muffler painted for a fine finish please share it. Thanks.

If you haven't done it before then my suggestion is to let the painter do the Job for you.
I'm afraid that the paint will be fried in a short time.
The main reason is the spray cans available locally can't bear the heat of the muffler(experienced it on my chonda's stock silencer).

As u can see in the pic the muffler is already painted black. The guy painted it in front of me. That paint doesn't burn so i can paint the spray can on it. But for a much better finish should I go for paint gun?
Anyone who knows good painter in Clifton/defence let me know.

So I calculated my bike's fuel economy and here are the results.

I filled the tank of 800rs petrol.
1 litre costs 113 rs. This means 800/113=7.07 litres came in the tank.

The reading on the odometer was exactly 166.6 km when the petrol finished in the reserve tank .
So 166.6km/7.07 litres=23.6 km/l.

Vey bad mileage for a single cylinder 150cc bike .... Even Balious,GS500E will manage to give this average easily,And these bikes are for sure from another world

Yes brother acceleration has increased. Bike aisse uthte hai ke kya batao. Don't know about fuel consumption since I put full petrol at the start of the month to avoid the hassle of filling it again and again.
Bro just go to saeed manzil area and check different shops. If you are satisfied with 3 to 4 mufflers by their looks then check their sound . ure exhaust pipe will be needed to cut which will remove ure stock muffler. Then try the other ones by just holding it close to exhaust pipe and twist the throttle to check the quality of sound. If you don't like any (hardly will be the case) you can tell them to put back the stock muffler.
If you want it chromed then you will have to give it for a day or two for chrome. Or you can get it painted also (heat resistant spray maybe).

No brother bike has clocked 1500km. Fuel avg is somewhat 40kmpl.
I am really impressed btw. I never thought suzuki 150 would give me such joy and fun ride. The best thing I like is its smooth running. No vibration at all. I am waiting for 2k km to come up and then pour liquimoly 4t and see what differences there are.

Today I went to Rafiq Autos in Aurangzeb market. Asked him about the gs150 disc brake set up. He said it's available and can be installed on stock rim. He quoted 9.5k for complete setup. Labour charges 2.5k.

I also went there with my friend. He showed us some old and dirty disc break and said that it was used in in GS150.

dude 38Km/L!! 350cc royal enfield will give an average of 45km/L, with better comfort and features. it is really awful when consdering the price and its specs. if it was a harley davidson or ducatti, i wont mind if it is below 10km/L. This is just a piece of crap with 38km/l. Bajaj pulsar 150cc will give an guaranteed milage of 60 +km/L .
