My car got suspended even after paying every single penny in time. Disappointed .. Anyone else with similar problem?

Brother what we can do, i am travelling frequently to KHI, on the way don't know if Punjab or Sindh police create any issue, God know what will happen, i have to travel to KHI this Eid before going i am thinking to pay and resolve the issue, what a normal person who can do despite paying all taxes regularly face this issue

Best way is to pay thru agent. This is what they actually want and will force you to do.

There is no guarantee that next year you will have to face the same issue, Also it's better to advise against paying off token taxes until late August, and if you don't care about the rebate just wait till September.

According to the latest updates, PITB is working on a resolution through ePay App. You won't need an appointment as it is simply against common sense to issue 28000 appointments online (some of which will have to be until 2022) by the time your car may as well could be impounded

I was facing the same issue. I paid every single tax till 2020. But on epay it was showing during token tax inquiry "vehicle suspended due to less income tax". Today i paid the token tax (around 4100 pkr) and remaining income tax (3700) via epay app. Just to Excise & taxation department link on epay and enter your car registration number. It will provide all the details and will generate a 18 digit PSID. Which you can pay through easy paisa or mobile banking etc. You will receive payment details via email from epay punjab and once paid, you will get acknowledgement via email. I paid through this and now my vehicle status is clean on excise dept. token paid till 2021.

Just wait and keep checking, they are updating the EPay system so you can pay through it along with your token taxes.

I am still facing the same problem. On e-pay app when i want to pay token tax , a message came "" Vehicle is accidented'. Althogh my vehicle is in accurate mode and is in my use. But on excise app its status is in suspended. Kindly guide me if anybody nows the solution.

My friend whose city shows suspended, contacted someone he know who works in PITB to know the reason of his car suspended and that guy's response is as below

"No issue ... this is due to a case that excise lost in supreme court
last year ... they have to collect the difference amount which they are
doing only manually in their offices ... yesterday they agreed to open
the payment of suspended vehicles on epay as well. But that will take a
couple of weeks. Ask the concerned vehicle owner to wait instead of
trying to visit excise office as 25% rebate is valid till 30th Sep so
theres ample time for that"

Now i am not sure if that is true or not but that is what the PITB guy replied to him

It has nothing to do with government. It was a dispute between fbr and exise deptt punjab who charged less tax. My car was also suspended and I have paid all charges through application epay.No need of any agent. Its just a 5 minutes job. I am surprised that everyone tries to drag in pti government into everything.

there is no penalty. These agents are telling lies. Application is updated and you can pay the token tax and income tax online. These agents are a big mafia. I was told that my tax was 2500 rs and he will charge 4000 to get the suspension removed. However on e-pay my tax arrears were 1250rs

the issue of less tax is from 2015-16 registered cars. What has it to do with current government

I have paid token thru epay for 2 cars , but 3rd was 2016 model . first the app was showing :Vehicle suspended due to less income tax (this error was for all 2016 cars as Suneel Munj said)

now they have rectified the matter but token tax is Double now , pehel 11,200 tha ab 23400 arha ha. punjab ki tax website abhi bhi 11K he dikha rhi ha , lekin android app epay ne jo token challan generate kia ha wo 23000 ka ha.

kia sb ko itna zada income tax ka efffect arha ha kia kuch khrb ha. pay krdon ya nahi.????????

Must be some technical issue. You should visit excise office and get the issue resolved.
