My car got suspended even after paying every single penny in time. Disappointed .. Anyone else with similar problem?

I purchased Honda City car in January 2016 and got it registered at Lahore immediately. Paid all yearly token taxes before 31st July every year and it is paid up to June 30, 2020. I was planning to sell it and checked it on the online vehicle verification system of MTMIS Punjab. I was surprised to see my car in suspended status. I live in Rahim Yar Khan and checked from Lahore Excise Office thru an agent why it was suspended. They said Rs.2250 less tax was paid at the time of registration. Now have to pay 5000 including agent fee.

PTI Government doing its best to introduce corruption every where. I am disappointed.

Anyone else with similar problem.

there should be online portal facility to pay these variances and tokens
as eventually all the data is preset online

I am trying to pay token fees on my vehicle and it's suspended. Sad because i paid all token taxes, transfer fees et al. on time and have kept all receipts.

My vehicle status is showing "SUSPENDED" as well, also on the e-Pay app it shows the cause which is "LESS INCOME TAX" which is stupidity because i have all previous receipts.

What a confused state of affairs we live in that even your vehicle that is meant for your comfort and pleasure is causing you this much distress.

Someone mentioned that excise won a case in high court where 2015 & 2016 vehicle owners had paid less tax at the time of registration. Another incompetence on their part but ultimately affects the working class.

Same problem here, i have Honda City 2015 model paying all taxes regularly, currently have installed E pay to pay token tax of July 2020 to June 2021 and its showing in E-pay application, Vehicle is suspended for less income tax
Brother anyone help and find any way to resolve the matter

i have checked with one agent, they saying u have to pay 3000 income tax and adding penalty charges etc total amount is 5500 to resolve the matter
I am thinking to visit PIA road Excise department to check actual amount, as its walking distance from my home

I have checked taxes for Honda City if I register it today. Taxes are same as I paid in 2016. Don't know what I paid less.
Anyway paid 5000 to an agent and he has promised to correct the status next week.

Agent says the tax payment is 2250 and he will give receipt for that.

My friend bought city 2015 0 meter ... paid all taxes and got lahore registration number ... last year he went to pay the token and they said u have paid 2000 less at time of registration ... so he paid that amount plus the token ... and this year again his car is showing as suspended with reason less tax paid

That is something ridiculous. So even if we clear it for this year it will be in doubt for coming years. Tabdeeli Zindabad

Thank you for posting this. I am experiencing the same. 2015 city. Paid every cent that was asked of me. Now this. Is there any agent I can call for help or do I need to visit the office and find an agent there.

I am also facing the same problem. But diffeence is on e-pay app when i want to pay token tax , a message came "" Vehicle is accidented'. Althogh my vehicle is in accurate mode and is in my use. But on excise web site its status is in suspended. Kindly guide me if anybody nows the solution.

It's excise internal issue which common man has to face, Utter incompetency bt sifaarshi hires, Im not paying any token or suspension fees until September. i advise everyone to stay away from Excise at this time, agent mafia has also taken over excise offices and booked all appointments for themselves so you can't even get an appointment.
