E61 still is brilliant! although the battery can not be found anywhere, The problem with mine is the battery has leaked! and a replacement is not available! Brilliant brilliant phone! Then cam the E63 and E73

When I purchased my first android phone Samsung Galaxy S1 in mid 2010, my colleagues used to say it a big big screen phone (Chappal).. Although it was only 4 inches 🤣 and now we're holding 6.5 inches size phones.

My Samsung Galaxy S1 is still running fine (on some custom ROM)

Quite a while back... I was looking for a Nokia 7650 and is desperately wanted one. It is rare and very difficult to find in Pakistan .. found it on olx a guy was selling some memorabilia of his late father which includes a couple of interesting phone. I just booked a 7650... When the thing arrived, it was off for quite sometime I had a new battery,pooped the battery and the sim card and turned it in... It had many photos from the sellers past, I texted him that the phone has photos and I can send them to which he was quite thankful, thankful enough to send me all the rest of the stuff at zero cost...

I got HTC Explorer back in 10th class. Rooted it right away and installed custom rom. As phone memory was only 500MB I paired it with 4gb SD card and extended it.
I remember they teach us Input/Output devices in class​

After one year or so usage of Samsung Galaxy S1, I started to take pangay with my phone. Rooted it, installed multiple unique apps, installed multiple custom ROMs in different periods. It was a golden time when I was very much into Android OS and rooting the devices. Although I'm a Surgeon.

Well after a busy eid weekend, and two food poisoning episodes I am back... My cars allahumdulillah are working well since I don't bother taking them out in the rains...

So, this weel I wanted to use something rare yet rugged .. So Nokia 5210 was my choice for the the week...

The Nokia 5210 is the only Nokia with an orange backlight and the phone has a thermometer and is somewhat water proof ..

Now for the pics...

I have changed the upper casing but the insides you can observe are genuine and the phone hasn't been opened

The phone is pretty rare in Pakistan... And I am still looking to add more of these in my collection...

i remember when it launched, the casing was rubberised and it had some extra features.

I do have a n90 @nnabeel Bhai... When the n900 came out, I had switched to android....

HTC Desire and Legend were the phones that caught my attention to buy android phone. But I went for Samsung Galaxy S1

My Samsung Galaxy S1 is still working fine, on some Cyanogen Mackay ROM (thanks to XDA forums). Although now it feels laggy after using latest android phones. It was a charming little phone at that time.

So thought of sharing some of the oldest Ericssons I have...

The phones are working the flip one is an analogue one so doesn't catch signals the gh628 however catches signals... Yes the antenna is broken, the rubber becomes too brittle after 25 years...

Never have owned one sir... but desperately finding one

it was a fun fone, button to release the flip with style, slim n lightweight to carry in front pocket of shirt.

keypad was a bit small for guys having big hands..

BUT in my experience it wasnt as reliable as nokia, had couple of them developed fault relating to signals, i mean after some time used to release the signal.

no way near the swag that startac had
