bhai believe me, when it came to market i bought 6230 brand new in 16500/- from a dealer i still remember its name "Madaavi electronics". it became dead on 2nd day and i was like ........:(. i went back to him and asked to put under warranty. initially he hesitated as normally mobile shop dealers do but at that time i used to work in an electronics company named "VIVA" who were the very first company to launch chinese mobiles in the market with the brand name "VIVA" when only Nokia, samsung, lg and some sony brands were sold in the market. After VIVA many brands were introduced in the market like "Sando" , GFive, Haeir, DBtel, and all other chinese brands later pouring in. Sadly due to poor marketing Technics the VIVA winded up its mobile division after successful run of 02 years approx from 2004 -2007. Anyways to cut story short after putting some company pressure, he gave me 6210i whose pack was only opened for one day use.
i bet it was the best phone of that time with solid feel and a tough battery. its camera was also awesome.
ppl dont remember the VIVA phones lately. you can check via below link: the company originally was pioneer in paper shredders and photocopiers, then it was into Dish antenna the famous "VIVA dish" and its decoders. after that it was into electronics like TV, microwaves, washing machnes and mobiles.
