^not sure about who did the denting on this car, but the fit & finish is really good so the guy must have known what he was doing.

Paint and Interior costed me 35k including paint booth rental, sikkens paint and du pont additives. Seats and interior can be redone in around 10K

But you can get it done in half the money if you want it to just work.

Denting was done by an old veteran denter from Pak Suzuki who is now working on his own in a small shop. Real credit goes to my friend Amin who was never satisfied until the denter was crying for mercy

I didnt knew that the restoration of this car was covered on PW
after your recent trip to Gwadar,Karachi and Jiwani I was more than impressed by the CHOHATTAR!

@spectra i had a question. Ke20's didnt come with a brake booster they just had brake master cylinders. Your car has a booster installed, which car did you source it from? also how much of a difference has it made. i have a ke20 as well and am looking for options to improve the brakes. this info should help. thanks

Booster is from a 1.6 model of KE20. It also came in 76 corolla which had a 4k engine

Well first of all i want to say A Great Job Done By Spectra Dude Brilliant Need Yr Tips Soon As I Am Also Going To Rebuilt My KE-20

A Guy Asked About Booster Brakes So My Dear Friend Yes He Was Right It Was Came With 1.6 As I Also Have Corolla KE-20 Some Thing Called Hi Deluxe But Booster Installed Since When We Bought It From The Showroom Any How You Can Use Any 1000 CC Car Booster Brakes For This Machine I Preffered That You Will Use Khyber Or Charade's Booster Brakes Other Options If You Got 80 Or 82 Corolla Brakes They Also Have Boosters Installed

After 4 years, i found a compatible radio antena for my KE20. It is chinese but do the job. Happy about it

We had a memorable trip to lahore on February 1, 2009 to see the drag race event on this car and it went superb without any problem or fatigue. It was noist above 70 mph but eager and willing to run without hesitation

try to find the original radio and the open box is not looking good
and why didnt u put the original kenwood player in it ????

original player comes at left side of dash and go to peshawer.
find the original ac box which will be integrated to heater box and remove the ac box...

some KE-20's came with ac.....

who did ur roof cloth restoration?????

Original Radio is now in place mate. I dont know of any original Kenwood player. Can you share pictures.

Original AC models had these box type AC's. not the ones intergrated with heater. If you know of any such box, please do share more details/pics.

Roof restoration was done by a guy in Babo Mohalla, A friend called him to work at home. Dont remember exact details now.
