Yesterday night at 1am exact something traumatic happened to me for the first time in life, I was driving alone at around 90-100KM/H in my Corolla 2003 1NZFE and made the stupidest decision ever, the DSP Chowk in Model Town which is exactly opposite to Hamza Sharif's set of houses, I put my car in First gear and turned at speed of 60-70 when the car for the first time in five years got out of my control and I hit the front left side of my car at the dual camera pole which is hard cement fitted long pole and I crashed the pole and rolled over my car. Luckily no one was on the road and guards and people helped me get out of the left door as my right door was stuck. The officials came and said you've destroyed Government Property and arrested me, the DSP thought I was drunk and he behaved rudely with me and sent me to Model Town police station. I pleaded guilty on spot and told them again and again that I accept it as my fault and will happily pay the charges. They took me in at 1am, and kept me waiting in a room until 6am when I got a call from the DSP and he said he will meet me at 8am. I was kept at the same room until 8am and then again they told me DSP sahab 12 bajay aen gey abhi wo uthay nai, anyways, my father talked to the authorities who control cctv cameras and all, and
they took sum of 3 Lac for Two
cameras only. At 2pm I got out of the station and towed the car to the workshop. I got my license and ID card and my phone back, and when I asked my brother about the car's original book he said, everything in the dashboard was there except the Car's book. So today, I've learnt a lesson and right now I am traumatised maybe because I am up for 30 hours now.
Everyone's got a weakness, and my weakness was tested when I saw my car after 12 hours towing away and tears rolled out of my eyes, not because of the cost of damage and all, but to see my ride in such condition, the ride that I love and have driven it for the past five years. I learned my lesson today, I may not ever drive again. But Alhamdulilah I was only faced with minor injuries on my shoulders and elbows and knees.
