Well buddies here are some updates on the car. All the mounts are in and the engine is finally now resting on its own in the engine bay and feeling pretty cozy there. There were a number of delays with the project today (as is to be expected). The axels couldnt be prepared because of an error of measurments. The mechanic was about to finish the engine bit when he called a call that his friend got slightly burned and had to the rush to the hospital so thats that. Wiring is the next part in the engine and my GOD it looks like a horrible job! I couldnt take many pics today but heres a few I took. Its goona get a little boring from now on till the engine is ready to start. Then its videos time!

Well bros my smooth going project is now in a bit of a mess First off we found out that the beautiful headers I bought for the h22 wont even fit properly Really sad to see them go. i would now be using a stock header with all sorta desi piping crap. Secondly I am unable to find a proper front driver side axel for the H22 to fit my car. Im certainly in panic mode now because I need to car before eid:'(. I hope things would work out. The good news is that the engine is in, the radiator and all connections clutch, gears, accelerator etc etc are all operational. Wiring is around 80% done and rest will be completed tomorro. If anyone has h22 axels that would fit my car please let me know so I can buy them right away. We might be able to start the engine tomorrow but without an axel its totally useless. If worst comes to worst we will have to go with a welded axel as a temporary solution which is the last thing I want as they are extremely unreliable and dangerous as well. Hope things are better tomorro.
Its sad to know you're going through the axel problem.. these hiccups i guess are bound to happen but wish you good luck and hope you find a solution soon.. In my limited knowledge, I think you'd be able to source it from Pesh. Why don't you get in touch with karakoram.. he's got a ton of information about the Peshawar market..

Today's updates:Well guys the mechanical work (apart from the right hand side axel is done. All wiring is also done and we were able to start the engine today for a while. The axel has become a bit of an issue as im unable to source it from anywhere. Next stop is probably peshawar. I partly blame the mechanics (and his manager) for this because they should have sourced these parts earlier when the project started. Now at the very last moment they tell me that its not available and becuase of eid holidays there is panic. Anyway today the exhaust and piping was in. Wasnt able to keep the engine running for long because no axel means no gear oil Enjoy the latest bacth of pics.
Nicely explained project ...btw i see some 1st Generation 1JZ-gte with Yamaha head and 2JZ-GE ..BTW can u tell me these engine prices ?
