Too unstable. Death on wheels. A friends friend died in a similar concept that went out of control and ran into a tree just outside his house. Its just not safe enough. The aerodynamics have to be worked out to the nth degree because you are essentially rolling in a metal cage with an engine and absolutely no weight at all. SHUDDER

try gulf contires for mechanical jobs ! they pay very good
karachi may mushkil hay if u find job of mechanical ull find it in oil rigs like mole or shlmbrger and in industries in pakistaan which are 60% sick or dead
warna gulf is best for u
and also keep afghanistaan in mind too
and if u get job then reserve a seat for me too

wish you were in karachi.. i really need to see an engine swap with my own eyes.. so much i want to know that just cant be said in typing..

details about the shifter cables.. what do they do exactly, why are they needed?

i am turning this idea round and round in my head of using a conventional easily available front engine front wheel drive engine in a rear wheel drive vehical.. without using a specific gearbox..

shifter cables are needed in front wheel drive cars
and yes u can use front wheel drive engine in rear wheel drive car ! sab kuch gear box ka kamal hay ! lik e.g 4AGE can be installed in a 74 mark 2 (rear wheel)
and in 86-00 corolla ( front wheel)

Well guys here are todays updates and pics:
The Two front engine mounts are ready and the engine is off the chains and resting on its new foundations. The rear mount is complicated business as I wanted the absolute best quality mount so my poor mechanic was going nuts traveling to and from Pindi to Isb to get it done. The axels are also off.... new custom ones will hopefully be ready by tomorro. The exaust pipe is also done but thats the last job in installation. Tommoro will be a busy day as everything has to be installed and hopefully we can start the engine tomorro. Need your prayers. Enjoy the pics

Some pics of the air intake and some other engines lying around the shop including a B18c type R and another nice looking H22a. I will be using the fat ugly air intake (black one). Also included are the pics of the new radiator for my car.

My mechanic is systematic in his approach. first creating a soft replica of the mounts (to the scale) and then doing some iron bending to shape it

mechanics are not that capable in terms of creating mounts n stuff !
