My Daihatsu YRV Turbo

At the categories from the manufactor Daihatsu I miss a lot of models, one of it is the Daihatsu YRV.

Here is a movie about the history of my own YRV, I buy it as standard YRV 1.3 with 87HP with 5 speed manual transmission. There exists also a higher power model called YRV Turbo or YRV GTti in some countries. This have a nearly the same engine inside but powered but turbo charged with an output of 129HP to an automatic gearbox only.

In 2005 I was in Germany with my wife and our two children and drive on german highways (there exists partionally "no speed limit" areas where you can drive as fast as your car allow it.

So within this car are 4 people incl. a lot of bagadges....

i think it's a great hot hatch (excellent value for money). if there is one thing i didn't like was the design of the vents, reminds me too much of the early model vitz/yaris even though i think the rest of the dash is MUCH more modern (even though it uses many of the same parts as the vitz)

The YRV does not base on the Charade, the YRV is based on the M Platform (Sirion/Boon and Materia/Boo) his internal typnumber is "M201" for the vehicles with 1298ccm (NA and Turbo), M200 for the Vehicles based on the EJ-VE engine and M211 for the Vehicles with 1298ccm engine with 4 weel drive system.

The YRV is build from 2000 to 2007, it is not an actual model.
