It's the same thing all over the country brother, if you're not wise enough these people will show absolutly no mercy towards you, will halal you so brutally you can never imagine. To them, my car, my property is sh-it and I own a few dozen money trees and some gold mines. Then will blatantly lie to you, show absolutely no commitement to the work that you are paying them to do, and on top try to over charge you at the first chance that they can get!
The first time I got a car re-painted myself was my old TE20 Corolla, and this was just 2 years back. The denter whom I was always very polite with and respectful towards, I used to refer to him as "aap ye karlen, aap woh karlen", stripped & gutted my car of paint, interior and exterior, and during that time took all of the amount that was decided earlier. After that, the car just stood at his shop for 6 months meanwhile he gave me excuses after excuses about why he could not find time to work on it, took approx 20K more from me to supposedly resume work (which he didn't) claiming he has to get parts for completing the job, still the car remained parked. Anyways, I dealt with him somehow or the other and the car is in top notch shape now Allah ka shukar. Lesson learnt. But it didn't put me down, I'm wiser now and can do my next project a lot better, all because of *** holes like him!
