The sides look very straight mashaAllah. The rear camber should be slightly adjustable without the camber kit aswell. Once the car is dropped, the back will automatically get a little negative camber at the back which would be slightly adjustable further. Dont go too negative though because it'll cause very rapid tread wear on the tires. Another thing, dont you think the front lip is looking out of place when you look at it from the side? I would say, get side skirts and the rear lip for it too so that it looks even from all sides.
Here is a reference picture of the plastic wedge, you can also use a flat tip screw driver covered with a thin soft cloth to avoid scratches.
The mechanic should know the exact position of the plastic clips, the window trim seal guide should be raised from one side and unclipped one by one. You need to remove the door outer trim cover on the rear doors and the mirrors on the front ones.
RTSi mud flaps:o, nice pick brother
Is the rear bumper fitted with two screws/bolts on the rear brackets?
I have no idea. All I know is that It's sitting on spacers
Thank you for shedding some light on the subject brother, however it was not the weather sticks that got bent. It was the window trim that is placed on top of the doors from back to front covering both doors.
Bro, i appreciate your advise on the camber kit subject and I will take it into consideration once I get there. As for the side skirts and rear bumper lip, I intended to restore it as close to the eg ferio as possible and they are mostly seen with front bumper lips, it's not the unevenness that you're against, it's basically the ride that is ruining the look and I completely understand. the car needs at least an inch and a half drop at rear wheels. I find it okay at the front. The ramp of my house is quite high so I can't risk any lower as it will destroy the front bumper lip. Besides, we' here in lahore do not have the best of streets when it comes to dropped rides. Every single street has like a gazillion speed breakers. I hope you get where I am going with this.
Check the two nos. of screws/bolts positions marked as B in the diagram. They are important to give support to the bumper from the lower side.
Bro, i get it now however, I am still not sure if this is the way it was done. do you find anything wrong with the fitting? If so, please suggest.
MashaAllah, the car is looking good as it is getting back in shape. All I can see is the rubber seal/grommet seems to be missing around the trunk lock.
U got A very good sight/
hahahahha how do you do that =D you've got eyes as sharp as a hawk =D Yeah, it's missing and I have plans to get it from BG when I visit next along with some other stuff like side mirror, ferio badge, OEM corner lights, washer nozzles (lost the previous ones that I bought) New Wipers blades along with a few other stuff.
MashAllah looking great Drop needed badly Im also seeking for some drop tools, confused between Springs or Coilovers. Coilovers are the best for sure but they are too high then Springs and iam still out of budget after restoration of my ES1 lolAnyhow, go for 195/60/15 if you are going to drop it soon.im running Bridgstone Tarunza 195/55/16 and its better then 205/55/16 because you feel your ride very lighter (zoooor free) when driving on a heavy foot
Thank you for the appreciation brother.
Yeah, i had the option to buy bridgestone 195/r15/55 but due to the suggestions, I went for the 205. Anyways, it's not so late. I will go back to the guy and hopefully, he will exchange the tires.
Your Garnish seems to be a bit cracked . . do something about it woroud. .
nah bro, it's not. it may be the angle that made it look cracked.
Salam I am conduction a survey for my MBA thesis, kindly fill this questionnaire (link given below). It will take hardly 2-3mins of your precious time and please recommend your friends to fill this questionnaire as-well.http://freeonlinesurveys.com/s.asp?s...ntk6ogpy456316
Thank you
I have filled out your survey, brother. Though I am not a fan of filling out any kind of forms, specially when it comes to online considering the amount of scams going on but since you're doing it as a university project, I couldn't refuse.
Best of luck =)
