They're not lazy, just dis honest. I have met honest mechanics/denters who honor their word. I know a mechanic here in Khi, if he says he'll deliver the car at 5PM today, he'll call you at 4:45pm to let you know the car is done. There are people like that. The sad part is you have to find honest people like these through trial and error after being bit and torn apart by greedy ******** and losing alot of cash.
I'm getting some work done to my Corolla and there is another on-going project parked at the workshop, it's a Nissan Safari being swapped with a 2JZ. The guy who owns the Safari is a good chum, has swapped many engines in 4X4s before just for fun and is experienced in that sort of a thing. So this swap has taken longer than expected and the owner is fed up now. The car is mis firing like hell, they checked and replaced every sensor, injector, ignitor, etc but the mis firing is still there. Turns out the electrician who wired up the car, who has known the owner for a good 8 years, who has wired up all his previous projects, stole the original wiring loom and hacked up a home made loom using nitto tape. When they found out, they proceeded to take him to the police station and he blurted out everything; that greed had consumed him and he intended to sell the uncut wiring loom to someone for 20K. Go figure!
