tell painter to go crazy with clear cote whcih they refer to as LAYQER man i wana see this car parked in light and reflections should go mad seen a friend done his civic same color and applied a bit more clear cote for more shine and results are amazing some ppl even believe that its original paint but we know the real story

once the paint is applied , look for peel through naked eye , if your good enough to judge the peel without the clear coat on top , then one can always use 3M grit paper to remove the peel before applying the clear coat , you can get showroom finish if the denting has been done to perfection ,I don't really remember the grade of paper you are supposed to use but yes , it comes handy especially abroad - cant guarantee it to be common in PAK though
More clear coat will help you as the typical sanding process is quite rough when it comes to local painters , make sure you purchase the stuff and hand it over to them and inspection at all time during the process is a must not matter how friendly the worker gets , your presence will surely improve the quality of work

I will try my level best to get the best possible finish and up to the level of all of your expectations. Hope for the best and do pray that it turns out the way I had planned =)

Brother, I have thoroughly inspected the car myself to look for orange peels but I couldn't find any except one on the bumper, I have asked my denter and an expert on this to get it done before the proper base coat and one it's done. I will make sure no orange peel is left to regret later on. I am aware of the 3M paper and what it can do however like you, I am not sure of the number of it, will try to locate it before the clear is done and about the paint. I bought 1 Liter of clear coat, I hope that's enough? If not, please suggest so I can get more before the job is done. Do visit the car if you can in the afternoon before the final job. I'd much appreciate it.

You did? When? how come I don't know about that. and thank you for the your big words. My painter was telling me that he had scheduled the base coat the day after tomorrow. Most probably it's gonna be done by friday Or saturday if the weather is in our favor.

in most of DIY threads for rebuilt Xulfiqar suggest to ask the painter to do the ' Manjhai' (base preparation) in long strokes over the pieces so when the paint coats are applied there is no shimmering wave 'la'har' at piece separation lines. over all it seems body work is done with care. When he acquired most of the money from me he began working on other cars and my car used to just be parked there like an orphan, same was the case with the electrician who was right next to the denter. One day I got it started up, put the spares in the trunk and drove off, still owe that ******* 10-12K as per him. Got it completed the way I wanted from another denter who helped me alot.

You're right bro, and these people are supposedly our poor and deprived class who are fighting. In reality, most of them are just sitting there to rip you off. My car was supposed to be done within 20 days, i parked it on jan 6th and here i am, still complaining about it after two months. They started playing right after ywo days, denter stopped working on car saying that i need more money and he would do that every third day until he got paid in full, took a month or so and the painter who was already paid in advance, i see him working on other cars that come in day to day and mine is still being neglected. Wish i had a 100 km to throw away on the body work, would have rid me of all the hastle.

Labour is always lazy. Happened to me too but not for such a period. I gave my ES1 to Hyundai Sajjad Motors on 20th January and they gave me the maximum time of 20 days. And the first 3 days the car was just standing like a forever alone thingy lol..
Then I paid their manager half of the total money decided as an advance and the work started cause he was standing on labour's head.
Even tough after denting and paintjob the car was not even touched for 3 days again and I got the delivery on 20th February.
I could be more late but I paid them regular visits standing right next to them.

Brother, I did decide everything in the beginning but they tricked me back and forth. They asked for the money the first day for parts like bumpers and panels and this and that. I just gave them 10,000 and advised them just to buy the bumpers that never came. after 15 days or so, the painter says , we couldn't go, consider this adjusted in the total amount you have due on us. It wasn't bad luck, just the wrong people.

Bro, u did the right thing by paying just half of it in thr beginning, i got tricked and i was a fool to think that they'll get happy and mighht spend some extra effort on the car.
