My experience with Toyota Aqua

I drove city 1.3 manual 2016 model, and it vibrates alot,
About acceleration I don't think you actually tested aqua becasue I left behind city many times in acceleration and that too on economy mode,

Maybe it has tyres or balancing alignment issue as this case never happened with me plus i have 1.5 manual dont know about 1.3 but 1.5 has more acceleration than aqua as i imported 3 aquas for sale profit purpose and have driven them also

No there wasn't any issue of balancing, as another friend of mine advised me not to buy city 1.3 Manual that car vibrates on 120+ and also underpowered, he has 2013 model driving it for 5 years,
and I drove city 1.5 and city 1.3 manual transmission before buying aqua, but I love drive of aqua, its awesome car,

basically that under-powered thing have a phenomena city has low end torque so in start acceleration is kind of slow but as it build up it is upto the marks secondly that low end torque is the main reason of high mileage of city like 14-14.5kml in city (Islamabad).

I havent drove aqua but i sit in its bak seat and its not spacious. V were 2 adults in bak seat and breaker pe bht careful hona parta hai.. btw city also touches on breakers but it has more space.

Exactly, the leg space is terribly conjusted, i drove a 2014/ 2017 aqua which was a 4.5 grade vehicle but the noise of the car was absurd, particularly once it converts on battery and then again on normal engine. However, everyone has his own set of choices while considering a vehicle but one should be truthful and unbiased while giving an opinion.

Yes of course one should be unbiased, Aqua has leg space issue in back seats as city has more leg space in back then aqua. I own 2015 aqua you probably know if read the complete thread.

noise of the car was absurd

Noise is there because when car shifts from battery to Engine, Engine RPM is little high for a small period of time then engine noise gets back to normal which is much less than CITY and GLI.

Oo yes, but even that noise is annoying. I have a point of view that this car is a compromised vehicle. You have to compromise on a lot of things if u wana keep this car and as per business termenology " Value for the money", it does not fetch good numbers. However, everyone has his own preferences and perception as per his choice and exposure to vehicles.

This car is perfect value for Money, Apart from back seat leg space and Trunk Space (Which i don't agree but this is issue to many) This Car haven't compromised on anything.

Aqua is basically a daily commuter car made for congested areas in Japanese cities. Its seats 2 adults + 2 children with decent boot capacity.

When you buy Aqua, pls compare it with Vitz or Passo not a sedan.

Aqua Hybrid is renowned for its fuel efficiency, so you should not expect it to be a rocket.

I have a 2014, its very smooth even the transition between EV and ICE. I have to use horn to warn pedestrians.

Only the accidental cars have noise and problems.

I think you are referring to "Star Trek" type noise. Thats a special sound generator for pedestrians to warn them of a coming vehicle as Hybrid cars are exceptionally silent when on EV mode.

You are right its a small car meant for city.

No, not that sound. The sound of Engine High RPM, mostly when you start the car or when car shifts from EV mode to Engine. in winters its even more loud. That problem is in 2015 model. 2014 model was smooth.
