Its a charm isn't it
i have been using it for a while and believe me it can take you almost anywhere in Pakistan. and that too for free (except petrol ofcourse :P)

and with the device if u got the Garmin Map for pakistan (one by tele atlas) than you wont be disappointed. i have tested it in Wah, Taxila, Isb, Pindi, Multan, Lhr, Pesh, Attock, khanpur and jehlum. it can take u to anything from a nearest petrol pump to a secret house address :). someone said that you can find shops with google earth, well u can find all of the listed locations just by entering the name on garmin :). cant wait until they get the traffic management system online in pakistan because right now the navigator just uses the shortest route.

Pkforum maps are good too but they are not yet compiled togather so probs with navigating between cities and stuff. but the garmin maps A+.

excellent choice i must say and very well priced.

I wish my Magellan Roadmate had the ability to add maps like Garmin.I find the magellan's are far easier to follow and plus they re-route very quickly.
I really had a crappy experience with garmin

nuvi 200 or 250 dont remember exactly .... took a long time to re-route .... gave the direction to turn very late compared to the magellan and the worst thing of all, when I turned, the animated car turned very slowly.
Going through normal traffic is fine but when your in New York City and on highways, Garmin can give you a headache

Very nice and informativ thread. I must that I have the same model garvin gps, but I got it for free when i bought a mobile here in norway. But I never use it because im still underaged and cant drive here in norway.

Very good Purchasing, I had a Garmin Nuvi 205w With-out Bluetooth, but it had a wide screen, bought it from Egypt Dutyfree, i got installed maps of pakistan by a friend in LHR, and had no issues in Islamabad/Pindi, wah (Taxila ), Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, AJK ( Muzzaffrabad ), Peshawar. Even had gr8 navigation in Lahore. i sold it to a person in Peshawar Hope he is having a good time . Any ways just wanted to share my expirance too. ( sorry for any mistakes ).

fsx : Brother i have a CD, With all the softwares from start till te end to use n95, on gps with maps of Pakistan just mail me ur id and i will send a attachment to u by mail, but after 3rd of april , i am a bit busy till then. Hope you are not in a hurry.
