I think it will be capable of defining routes. and then audibles for turn by turn navigation. is it? and have you used it with offline google maps of all Pakistan?

I did not have routeable Google maps, but they worked on it. This model gave voice guided turn by turn guidance. You cannot define routes on it, however you can save the routes and use them on Google earth

Though you can install it on e-63 ( I have done it) , but it is not as much fun as on a built-in gps phone. I am emailing you the procedure however.

the first gps i used was garmin's with maps from pkmaps.com on a nokia 5800xm. last weekend it was all i had to get me through lahore's streets for 4 hot days....!

Garmin nuvi 360

Got this Garmin 360 GPS from amazon.com. It is a nuvi series 360 GPS device which came with carrying vault, wall charger, car charger, car cradle and US maps. I loaded Pakistan routable maps from pkmaps.freeforums.org and using it in Islamabad. The navigation through Islamabad is accurate and fast.

The device has bluetooth connectivity and paired with cellphone so you can make and receive calls hands free. With my Nokia 6120 classic however I am still unable to display caller ID on nuvi screen.

It has an MP3 player, an audible book reader, world clock, currency converter, measures converter and a picture viewer.

The touch screen is responsive and the overall build quality is solid. The device also displays speed, average speed, distance covered etc. You can check if your car’s speedo meter is giving you accurate reading or not, particularly after a tire size change. In your own city, you would not require a GPS, but when traveling to other cities and towns, you can navigate your way with the help of this device.

I am using GPS along with Google Latitude + Google Maps on my Nokia E71. It has much better and detailed maps as in it shows even names of shops, roads and parks e.g. it shows gourmet bakery, XYZ medical store, names of banks etc. It is a free solution if you have a GPS cellphone (iphone 3g, nokia e71/e90, htc tytn II, diamond, touch pro and the list continues)

Another advantage of Google Latitude is that I can track my family members realtime (with exact locationupto 5 meters accuacy) and they can trace me while on the go and even though internet! and in case I do not want anyone to see my location I can always disable it or set a fake location;)

Btw all this is completely free....you only need to have GPRS activated on your phone(I have unlimited package for Rs. 500/month)

You should have a fixed data plan (unlimited internet usage package). Just point to Google Mobile and click on maps, just install the application and you are good to go
