Hi guys, would like to show you and give a insight to my Mercedes-Benz C class, w203 (2002) model, its my first Benz and i on popular request in this thread i would not only be showing you the car but also giving a insight to whats it like owning this model or a Benz in particular compared to domestic cars and also give some facts about maintainece and what and what not to do, comments and questions welcome and do say Masha Allah

i was looking for a car which would be unique and have a premium badge, no intention of daily runner was there, i looked at and even drove some cars i liked like a 2003 bmw 318i but when i saw this merc even without driving i knew this was perfect for me, it was in really good condition and the owner was a very knowledgable and enthusiastic fellow and had maintained well, it had fill service history and all preventative stuff had been performed meaning i would have to spend less and aesthetically it was perfect as well. it was also fully loaded model and easily had so many more gadgets than the bmw so i got this car from a fellow pakwheeler Haroon_1, a really nice fellow, although i have sold ands bought cars on pakwheel smany times this guys dealing i found to be clear and best till yet.

the worst thing you can do to a car is not drive it - it rots out really quick that way.

That's a lovely car you've there. Waiting for a detailed description on even the minor details. I think this is going to be the first and only thread on pakwheels where a member gives a true insight into every aspect of the ownership experience of this car. I can feel it.

i agree, i do take care to give runs on open road every week and also start and move it around clean etc twice a week, unfortunately have 4 cars all for leaisuarly purposes so can't help that annual milage of any of these 4 doesnt exceed 2000km, however maintainece intervals are also adjusted accordingly as to take care of short trips etc

starting form tomorrow yes would be giving very in depth breakdowns of costs, parts, ownership experience and lots and lots of pictures + some videos, intend to make it a guide for someone who want to keep one these cars and maintain it like a benz should be maintained by the original specifications. and of course th hurdles along the way, already had some in a month:P

Thanks a lot for appreciating, i read all your posts on zulfiqars thread.
First of all u changed the control arm bushes etc, few suspension parts as per my knowledge, they were not in condition to be changed. whenever u replace the bushings etc. the mechanics of Pakistan even inh and shahnawaz the most leading one. they also dun know how to press the in arms etc, so use them as far as they work, u changed then its good but its not a need.
Secondly, the wheels bolts problem, yes one the front wheel hub is having a bushing, the job was done by me from an expert guy, but remember that was happened by the gud which inh guys use to tighten. The only problem is the bolts are a little short in length that was due to the changingt to alloy rims by previous owner he didnt changed the proper bolts used an ordinary one, i bought few from a guy in bilal gunj they are also short in length having them at home.
do let me know if u didnt bought them till know, i m planning for a visit to pindi, i will bring them, hope they are available there
the Ac issue u dicussed, yes it works when u engage in gear once the compressor is off. its not a problem, same is the case with my cousins works, they always diifer in technology.
the trunk lid problem why it not swings, simply clean the trunk rubbers.

Now i am concluding, i sold this car. But i again say its one of the best merc u got in town for sure 100%.

whenever u go for some long travelling must check its fuel average, it will give u 15 km per liter, a 1990cc engine.

If u consider power, once i touched 220 kmph on motorway, then applied deadly breaks to 0kmph, it worked like it should. The car is flawless, these kinds of small maintenece is always required.

stay on 5-50w oil cz its almost 140k driven now, so use a bit thick oil.

having its power pump lying at home, that is perfect but changed for my satisfaction,if u want collect that from me..

you posting a picture of squeaky clean mercedes benz wheels = car is not driven even 1 ft - benz brake pads are dust machines - my wheels get black to the point of insanity after a week.

they had a joint venture some detailing was done by ahmad bhai and some by himself..

no i m guessing it to be m111.955 since u seem to be quite sure that its a 2.0 litre engine but afaik c200 kompressors are equipped with 1.8 litre engines...
now i guess that maybe the engine is swapped or rather the kompressor badge is fake!!
Enlighten me if i am wrong!

As far as i know its 1990cc, and c200s are having 1.8-2.3 liters engines, may be i m wrong

the badge on the back is wrong, i don't know why someone put it, its a c180 with m111 2.0litre inline 4 engine. theres no supercharger
