since you have asked this in my thread heres my view particularly on your concerns
low profile tires, yes it has those and yes ride is not as comfortable as it should be, its common on almost all new cr these days, take a ride in the CLA with AMG sport pack and have your spine rattled to death on our roads wtit 45 profile tyres. that said the car is very athletic and enjoyable on smooth roads such as motorway etc and if someone ever had the perception that Mercedes cars in particularly are very soft and squidgy ride quality they will be mistaken, the cars are taught and athletic and with the right wheel and tyre house very very smooth over bumps, my w203 without any big rims and low profile tires glides over bumps way better than any of my corollas as if they aren't there
its a C class its not supposed to be big, camry is more the size of a E class, but leg room is fair and i especially like the width of the cabin especially in new cars they feel very wide and elbows dont touch. if you think a C class is small how on earth will you even fit in a Audi A3 or CLA both of which are much smaller.
i personally haven't seen any piano finish on a Mercedes scratch did the car you checked had scratches? any piano finishes scratches can be fixed easily i once re did the piano finish on a friends rx8 with meguiars plastX came out excellent, its the real material not like the plastic used on new grande black foe piano finishes, if you dont like it you can select loads of wooden and aluminium finishes as well, its upto th buyer
caring for leather should be dead easy for a detailer and even if you are one if a person spends this much on a car they can very well entrust their ride with a good detailing joint to maintain it.
groudn clearennce isn't that body to be honest, shahnawaz even raises the cars sold here by few millimetres, my w203 is even lower than the new one and i never felt it a issue hampering the drive.
1.8 litre with turbocharger has enough output to move the car along nicely and the car itself isn't very heavy, couple that with a excellent alert gearbox and you have a very active power train. speed or drag racing freaks can opt for c250 or even C63 for true bonkers epxeraincerce both in performance and price.
folding mirrors was even a option on the Audi A6 a even higher trim vehicle before the last facelift, and it wasnt a cheap option, most of the car i have seen do have this option, including my w203 has power retracting mirrors, which the previous owner broke one of them presumably because they were hit or something as indication lense had a crack, A new motor and indicator lens later they were fixed for 16k from shahnawaz, idd imagine the cost would be more on a newer model so maybe its not a bad thing to not have especially when security guards have a tendency to close the mirror without asking.
as for value for money you forgot to mention that for around 8.5 million it comes fully equipped including panoramic sunroof, led headlights and much more, you load up a bmw 3 series with these options which is 1.6 and cost becomes same, same cause with Audi. it is still i would say around 5 lac more expensive then it should be but thats good in my opinion, keeps it from becoming common as not every tom dick and harry who now suddenly has money when he didn't before would be put of initially meaning the car and its image will be clear for real owners who appreciate it.
it is a very well built car and 10 years down the road you can still if needed restore this to 100% factory spec which you cant on any japanese car, similar case you can compare my 13 year old w203 which was able to be maintained 100% to factory spec to any japanese car which cannot. the service intervals etc are all longer.
you buy a 2015 C class Mercedes for its looks, for its engineering, its attention to detail in the cabin, and the way it feels and drives. and you want in on a brand new mercedes experience and part of that club. if space or material quality or gadgets is your primary concern buy a used s class it'll have all of that and some more.
that said ill take a used E class w212 over a new c class anyday.
you need to own it to understand it not just a joyride for one time. you can check my review of the CLA allurer in this thread where i agree with some of your points.
