yep especially in hot weather though my car tyres are filled with nitrogen so there air pressures dont flucutate a lot, i find the temperature more usefull as i can see the front tires temperature rise under constant heavy braking and its more fun to monitor those values, also the receiver beeps and flashes if any one of the tires pressure suddenly drops and even if it pressure rises too much which is usefull, as once in a corolla i got a nail in the rear tyre and by the time i reached home it only had 16psi pressure but i never noticed so this device stops such events from happening.

car is in garage under cover, ill try to later post detailed pictures of the setup.

You mean it tells live tire pressure and temperature of each individual tire? Doesn't your car already have TPMS standard? Where did you get it from?

yes of each individual tyre, w203 didnt came with tpms and it was a option on w204 as well and that option also only lights up a warning light as far as i know when one tyre goes flat it does not tell of each individual tyre like this does. plus the sensors are not inside the rims so the sensor batteries are easy to replace unlike the ones inside the tyres which have a finite life and the tire has to be dismounted from the rim to change them.

they have a digital gauge inside the cluster with temp markings like 40,60,80C etc

if you want can later snap a picture of it for you

someone from karachi uploaded this bodge that he uncovered after buying the car, the seat occupancy sensors had gone bad but rather than replacing them had this done to fool the car into thinking they were there so that the airbag light would stay off, stay away from such cars folks! didnt realise Pakistanis could even fool canbus.

These kind of hacks are extremely common in all cars across Pakistan, while running a warakshaap I learned that we desi people will not want to spend more than Rs 100/- on any mechanical repair because it doesnt actually show, but will spend Rs 100K on a detail polish job or rims/tyres because it shows.

usually my freinds would take me to inspect a car and then say - bechnay waley ka band nahi bajadena.. because I would point out sloppy repairs, dead items and other hack stuff.

oh yes,, most new cars come with them now.. even corollas come with it now, very handy. There are some aftermarket ones which do that and I have a freind who works with embedded stuff and also other hobby stuff - his passion is ships, so his own custom screenshot for these have the words port, starboard, hull and bow.

no worries about off topic, i love aviation infact my dissertation was on aviation law, so i am going to start calling it that too as its sometimes referred that way in aviation as well.

and this kit was pretty cheap so i hope the batteries last even if they dont i can just get new ones and simply lock them into place.

after getting free from a few things in a day or two will post pictures of it

by the way on some cars or in my experience CLS and audi a4, i have often then not seem the TPMPS warning light on even though air pressures are fine with the owners saying its a frequent occurrence, one of the sensors bad maybe or just miscommunication letting the light on.

i have these bar caps as well, but mine are 2.0bar not 2.4, i found them at a shop in lahore. 2.0 bar is 29 psi and 2.4 is 35psi!

that odd warning lamp is a sign of the sensors going bad, either by filling the tires with watery air or overheating it badly (running it low)

not sure if this is appropriate for pakwheels forums, but you never keep any mercedes for resale value lol youll never get back the amount you spend to restore it to factory specs though they are cheaper to run in the long run compared to japanese counterparts.

you may want to come up with better reasons why one should regularly drive thier car like the fact that a rarely driven car suffers more mechanical wear and tear. I would take that reason better than the above one.

I'm sorry if its not according to rules, I'm fresh off the boat here. I just posted that meme because the owner doesn't want to drive this car. Why the hell in the world you would buy such a powerful car and not drive it for any reason.
