i want to buy Chev plz help me in this matter, which one is Better Joy or Exclusive. can Joy's parts be put in Exclusive? what is the different between LS Exclusive & Exclusive?

Well both are awesome, the only difference being that joy is 1000cc while Exclusive is 800cc. joy is offered with body coloured side mirrors. Rest everything is same, the body and all the parts, except the engine. While in exclusive and exclusive LS, LS has more features like a clock, powered windows, powersteering (i guess) and much more!

For all i know Get Joy, its locally made, parts are available EASILY at plaza karachi and it is an awesome car Great mileage and great pick. Excellent performance and 10/10 drive comfort.

Just a point that i want to raise is that if you want to get a used one better get it checked by a mechanic (an expert on joy) and then buy on his recommendation. Most people have a hard time maintaing their car and they usually sell out dump. So beware of that

Dear brother,

please let me know of a few things about this car. I just bought it last month, 2005 model. The problem is, whenever I am driving the car with AC on, even not on long distances, the radiator water is dried up. If I dont use the AC for a week the water level remains same, but as soon as I turn the AC on and get back home and check the water it is soaked up.

Please guide me on this, as this is my first car and I really love this machine, just taking time to get use to it. Also please do recommend a good mechanic to get it tuned up near north nazimabad, if you know any. I am new to cars and dont want to ruin my machine with oddball mechanics. should I take it to the authorised service center ?

Sorry for the very late reply. been quite some time since updated this thread..
well im not much of a techinical person, all i can say is that i never faced this issue. Do get it checked from ur mechanic asap as water drying up in the radiator is not good. try putting coolant too

get price quotations from an authorized dealer and get to know that certain problem. they tend to overcharge for their services but if ure willing to pay more, then that is the reliable and best option for you..

I got the radiator serviced (cleaned), the radiator guy said not to use the colant .. as it would clear the rust in any leaked area and it would leak again, but the radiator was squeaky new.. only the rust that was cleared with the crack in the plastic cover that was taken care of. i consider myself a mechanic now as i have sorted out the CNG problem myself yesterday.. haha.. the radiator guys didnt know what to do with the car when they put back the radiator in. they get the car started by a mechanic who started it on petrol only and i had to get it to my local mechanic as well as called people to get a good one near by.. both of them failed to identify the problem.. one even after messing with the wirings asked other mechanic there "yar yeh kia cheez hay" they were talking about the throttle body...... i was really shocked.. they were experienced people... well they insisted on referrals.. i was so angry.. i came home stripped off the stuff i can under the hood.. i saw a black wire disconnected from the body (earth i suppose), i connected it and the car was zap on CNG on half self.. there is no problem with the CNG now, but i am still confused about the milage.. my brother's first owner coure 2007 gives him 100 km on 45 kg cylinder and mine is giving 110 km on 55kg cylinder (we both use same filling station).. i thought mine should give better average as its efi and all... but its not the case..

good to hear that u solved the problem pretty much
i am not much of a techinical person, although from basic math skills i can compute that my chevy which runs only petrol (no cng kit) gives me Rs. 8.26/km.... i.e petrols new rate of Rs. 95/litre..
i hope ur chevy with cng should easily give around Rs.5-6/km

i would really love to run it on petrol as the performance of the care is really outstanding on petrol, on CNG it feels like dragging something along.. one has to be patient as well the traffic behind him.. haha.. my family also denotes the CNG tank as "bomb". they say, bom lay ker ghoom raha hay gari may.. haha..

well on CNG as i mentioned before in some topic here.. it is giving like 110km on Rs.535 of full 55 KG tank.. aprox Rs. 4.86/km. But my younger bro (he is maymon in terms of money) with 2007 coure automatic says that he has average of 100 km on 45 kg cylinder..

also to keep in mind.. i use a signal free corridor to reach university daily.. and my bro takes the busy route from north nazimabad to tower... if i go on that route it would be a nightmare for me i guess..

well thats a pretty decent average.
well my average is considering me traveling in a medium traffic route on my way to uni and from the way back i encounter bumper to bumper traffic in saddar each day...so considering that i think its ok...mine being overhauled and fitted with extra big tyres...increases the drag...
