Congrats and welcome to the Mitsubishi club.
Having your first SUV and having non highway friendly 4D56 motor in her you have to drive with a bit of compromise on top speeds . and yes surely it is under powered for a LWB pajero .
Drive this vehicle for couple of months than an easy and cake walk solution is to do a surgery of 4M40 .
and another option is to tame your current 4D56 with a heart bypass with a Shehzor engine block and head and you will love the combo ...(H) but it require some good hands to work with it.

Will do so as soon as I get a chance. Surprisingly, there isn't a drop of oil spillage. The porch floor is spotless.

Some maintenance done:

Replaced Shock Absorbers Rs. 12k
Replaced all rubber bushings and toe ends Rs. 10K
Wheel alignment and height levelling
Labour for above Rs. 10K
Fuel Pump service 13K (had to replace rotor)

Just reached my pind for some casual off roading and a dip in tube well. The only noise remaining is that of doors rattling. Am loving it thus far. Will keep posting more.

Moreover, I managed to maintain a steady speed of 110K @ 3000 rpm on motorway. Overall performance is above satisfaction. There were 5 adults and 7 children with both ACs on.

The mechanic has advised some attention to be paid to the Cross as it has some unwanted play. Will see to it next week.

Good that you got the important bits done, but why did you touch the pump? was it unavoidable? coz I do not believe in touching the pump until it is absolutely necessary. Anyways, you mentioned cruising at 110 km/H, I would recommend not to cross 100 km/H, ideally try staying at 90-95....

Did you get the Oil changed...if yes kindly share which oil?

What fuel average did you SUV return on your drive to the pind...

My Liana was run on petrol only. Sold it for 950K to a dear friend. I didn't desire to sell it. My friend insisted and took it away. So literally it sold in minutes

I sold my isb reg 2008 FF cng Liana in 2012 January for 850k with mileage of 67k.

Just put the add on pw two people contacted and the first one came to see, he liked it and we struck a deal.

It was in immaculate condition and only driven by me. Some of the pictures of the car can be seen here.

2.4L is underpowered but manual tranny compensates it.

Pajeros are great SUVs to keep for family and daily rides etc.

I need advice. With the transfer lever in 2H position, the SS4WD display has steady rare wheels lights and blinking front wheels lights. Also the Amber c/d light also comes and goes. What's the desired light status and how should it be achieved?

dear blinking lights means that 4X4 is not fully engaged that your 4 wheels are not working only rear two are in action. when above two and rare two lights stay constant that means your truck is engaged to 4x4 and four of the wheels are moving .. and also when the central differential is locked means total power are in wheels then your amber C/D light stay solid..
